Describe sighting in detail:
Went up last night to an area that I have been researching for several month's, with Trail Cam's & Digital Recorder! When I arrived I decided to walk up through a Clearcut to the top & do some calls & look for any Tracks! I started doing calls about half way up the Mountain with no response, after reaching the top I did a few more calls, still no response, I started back down to a spot to leave my Trail Cam, did that then headed to the Bottom where I had parked my Truck!
Just before the bottom there is a Big Log laying across the Old Road, I stopped there & did a couple Knocks & a few Calls! After a few minutes there is when I heard the Howl! It was just 1 & it came from across the dirt road down in the Creek bottom in a Heavily Treed area, the same area as the first howls that I had recorded!
I may have heard a knock as well but I am not real positive about that? It may have been picked up on my recorder? I definitely got the Howl on my recorder! I have recorder several howls from 1 on a Night earlier this year, its hard to hear those ones, but it can be heard several times! Those ones were definitely louder & more distinct in person when it happened! There's no Question of the Howl that I caught last night!!! Loud & Clear!! Very exciting & got the Blood flowin for sure!!!

Sonny provided me with his recording from 6/3/15 and I was able to hear the reply howl. I have enhanced it to bring the sound out. Here is the video.



Sonny also provided me with the howls he recorded earlier in the year but upon enhancing it the "white noise" became so loud that you could not hear the howls. So I just had to scratch it. Here is what Sonny said about that recording, "It was recorded on my I-Phone 6, I have a Digital recorder but that week it was left with a Trail Camera that I had put up, the Phone was the best thing I had that night! I got a Coyote to start Barking & Howling that night too about 12 minute's into the Video!"
