Overview
Three college friends hunting coyotes near Treadway, Tennessee, encountered a massive wolf‑like creature that defied all known animal proportions. The sighting remains one of the most detailed and emotionally charged reports in the TCC Research archives.

Creature Description
The witnesses described a gigantic black wolf/coyote, approximately 5–6 feet tall on all fours and 10 feet tall standing upright.
It had glaring yellow eyes, a thunderous howl, and ran on two legs at an estimated 50 mph.
The creature approached slowly, stood upright, howled again, and then sprinted off the trail into the woods.
Additional Notes
The witnesses fled immediately. One fired a shot as the creature ran, possibly hitting it, but it did not stop. No tracks or evidence were recovered. The primary witness still experiences nightmares about the encounter.
