Water Turns Blood Red - Source Revealed!
I took a trip out to hunt for ginseng and look for bigfoot evidence. It was a pretty hard day with a lot of uphill climbing. I enjoyed it.
During my travels, I came across a stream that was running red. It was an interesting sight. I thought I would post some pictures on my social media and see if it got any interest. I knew the source that caused the water to turn red and wanted to see people's reactions.
Below is one of the photos I posted and a video of what actually caused the water to turn red.
The water ran red for a long way and was still spreading. Some of my good folks on social media made some guesses as to what was causing it. Some guesses included algae, mercury, kool-aid, and iron. Someone thought maybe I have skinned and gutted a squirrel.
Some thought maybe it could be something supernatural and others just didn't know what was going on.
It was an interesting post and I thank my friends for checking it out and making guesses. It was fun.
Here is a short video of what was causing the water to run red.
That's right. It was bear poop and apparently, the bear had been eating a lot of pokeberries. When it unloaded part of the dump landed on the edge of the stream and the berries dyed the was red.
Now, if I had not seen the source it would have been a real mystery.
Growing up we used to throw poke berries at each other and it would stain our clothes.
Hope you enjoyed the story, pictures, and video.
Thanks
~Thomas~
