Ulster County, New York Sasquatch
This multi-generation cattle farm has a history with what may be a family of sasquatch. The most recent experiences occurred last summer.
While enjoying a bonfire on the night of June 28, 2018 a man and his fiancé added to the evening by playing Native American music. They began to hear tree knocks and "whoops" in the night. The sounds came from both in front of them and behind. They remained outside listening until the sounds stopped, approximately from 10 pm to 2 am.
During the past few months, they both had been hearing knocks and whoops coming from the woods and fields. One night, while sleeping on the couch, the male witness heard growls. The two had also built a new back deck on the house. One evening at twilight as he sat there smoking, he was surprised to see a large hand mimicking his actions as he smoked. He called for his fiancé but before she could get there, it was gone. The male witness also commented that on July 3 as he sat typing the report, he heard a loud tree knock followed by a crashing tree.
His fiancé, whose family owns the farm, had an encounter when a young girl growing up on the property. Her father had stories of events and always warned the family to stay away from the back field at night.
The male witness also had a sighting when he was 6 years old. He saw a young sasquatch in Vermont near Whitehall, New York.
The 87 acre beef farm lies near the Hudson River and is near to forests and state preserves. They have a herd of beef cows and a bull, horses, chickens and wild turkeys and deer abound. There are also plum and apple trees on the property.
