Helpful Sasquatch
It was summer, 1963. A man went out hunting for deer near Mt. Shasta. He had gone alone and so had no one with him when he fell and badly injured his leg. He finally was able to get to his feet, but could barely hobble. He was worried as he knew how long of a journey he had to get to where he could find some help.
He became even more alarmed when he saw an 8-foot tall light-colored creature approaching. It proceeded to watch him for a few minutes while the man struggled to get away. Finally, the creature approached him and picked him up. The bigfoot carried him carefully until they reached a road. The man assumed that the bigfoot took him to the nearest road so that he could get some human help.In the early 1900s, a Native American was acting as guide for some gold prospectors. He was checking out an area by himself near the foot of Mt. Shasta when he was bitten by a snake. After killing it, he grew faint and passed out. He regained consciousness to find himself surrounded by three bigfoot. They ranged around 8 to 10 ft tall. The creatures had treated his snakebite and were in the process of carrying him down a trail. They took him close enough where he could call out to the prospectors and set him down under a tree.
August 20, 1970: A young woman from Wilsonville, Oregon heard someone shooting in the woods on her farm at around 5pm. She picked up her shotgun and went out to chase the trespassers off her land. When she reached a barbed-wire fence at the edge of the woods, she set down her shotgun to crawl through. After climbing through, still bent over, something suddenly grabbed her and threw her back over the fence. She was just able to notice that it was big and hair-covered and smelled bad. She landed 10 to 15 yards from the fence in a patch of thistles. She was scratched but otherwise unhurt as the thistles cushioned her impact. By the time she had gotten herself out of the patch, the bigfoot was out of sight.
It's not that big of a stretch to think that perhaps it was trying to keep her from walking into the shooters and getting hurt. If they were hunting it, they may not have been careful what they were going to shoot at. She could have been shot, wounded or even killed by them.
