Baby Sasquatch Swinging In A Tree - Australian Yowie Style
This comes from a researcher from down under. Paul McLeod investigates Yowie reports and correlates them with missing people reports. In essence, he is the Australian Missing 411.
On his YouTube channel [Global Monster Australia] are many videos of possible Yowie. While McLeod believes in the existence of the Yowie that's not the main thing he is investigating. He is more interested in the disappearances and the strange deaths of people in Australia. He is trying to see if there is any connection between them.
McLeod states the fact that most modern Yowie sightings are near the roads that lead into and from townships that adjoin wilderness areas. On the other hand, that would be the area where people would be traveling and might therefore have a sighting.
However, let's return to the video. This video claims to show a baby sasquatch or Yowie, swinging in a tree in the background of a video.
At first it will seem that the wind is actively tossing branches and leaves, creating shadows and movement. Look further and there appears to be no wind movement in any of the other trees. Focus on the branch that seems to be swinging back and forth and watch beneath it.
McLeod's statement with the video read:
"I have been filming the same area as the original sighting every day from my front veranda. On the 14th of February (the day after I discovered a large footprint track at the same site) I managed to capture on video at 160 meters [about 525 feet] a large figure swinging around in a gum tree.
"To me it looks simian . . . but I have a large bias (because I live here and see a lot of strange stuff in that area).
"I don't think it's a bird or a possum or even a feral cat and I have seen no koala's in the trees in my area since arriving here. I walk the area."
McLeod has been accused by some of doctoring images and videos. There are complaints that his video footage is not long enough. They say he has admitted faking footage but the files that these critics say contain that alleged confession appear to be "not viewable".
Others say that McLeod's critics are letting their egos, pride and animosity get in the way of treating McLeod's work neutrally. They say that those critics should stop dismissing something because of the person who has presented it, but to break it down and analyze it properly.
Ah yes, wouldn't that be nice. But nice doesn't exist inside most of this type of community.
I got the following message from Mr. McLeod
In case you can't read it.
McLeod writes: "Happy to answer any questions you have regarding those critical remarks from my detractors. I have saved screen captures of all the deleted remarks you referred to, the whole thing is a non event, storm in a tea cup, however. I've since moved on but as I said I can supply copies of all the missing posts upon request. Thank you for the even handed and fairly stated article, Cheers https://www.facebook.com/paul.mcleod.359"
My Reply: "Nice to hear from you, Paul. I would be happy to include those missing posts with this article. I have to agree that many times events get blown up bigger than they need be. Thank you for your remarks on how I handled this topic. I try to present the facts as far as I can find them and let the reader decide for themselves."
[It appears Paul's Facebook profile has now been deleted]
Unfortunately, Mr. McLeod never did not respond or follow up to my comment.
