Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin Lost Interview
"On October 26, 1967, Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin were interviewed on
radio by Jack Webster in Vancouver, following the showing of the
Patterson-Gimlin film at the University of British Columbia that same
evening. Fortunately, John Green had a copy of the interview in his
cassette tape collection. He graciously permitted a copy of
the recording and all of his other cassette recordings as well. These
will later be added to this channel.
Until now, and after a long 53 years, the interview had not been made
public." - The Sasquatch Archives
Here is the interview
This is very rare and very much worth giving a listen. I enjoyed listening to it.

Thomas, Thank you for sharing this with us. It is a marvelous piece of history (a genuine interview of eye-witnesses and filmmakers of the first footage of Bigfoot, Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin by a popular period radio host Jack Webster) about a marvelous piece of history (The film event that brought Bigfoot into theaters and living rooms across nations). I am further excited to hear Patterson and Gimlin say in their own words they support "no kill". Hearing this goes a very long way to confront with argument if not completely dispel the rumor of alternate extraordinary events that have been circulating. Also Patterson mentions that zoologists were involved in investigating the site of the film and that he thought they would have a Bigfoot for science to study within four or five years. This further supports their good intention to work with scientists to bring an undocumented creature out into the world of the known Animal Kingdom.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephen!
ReplyDeleteThomas,
ReplyDeleteVideos were great of the Blanton trails, but I can not seem to find a trail map of the hikes on any site. Can you direct me to a printable map, beginning at Camp Blanton?
