Wood Knocks In Oregon
This report comes from TCC's Bobby and Corinna Long. It seems Bobby, his son Hunter and Hunter's friend Mya had a frightening experience. This happened on Saturday October 3, 2020 at around 9 pm in Douglas County Oregon.
Here is the report from Bobby.
- Start Report -
Time: Saturday October 3, 2020 @ 9:00 pm
Describe Area: Area is very brushy with large timber.Dead end road, It was very dark no moonlight
Witnesses: Bobby Long, Hunter Long, Mya (Mya's last name is withheld)
Describe Event:
Hunter, Mya and myself decided to go on a drive to look for mushrooms and let Hunter practice driving, since he's almost 16. We drove up and down several dirt roads for a couple hours when I decided to show him an old steel water tank used for fires back in the 1980s. We found the tank and then proceeded to the dead end that was a very old logging landing.
We started to turn around then something started beating on the trees below us. Startled by it, I asked Hunter to shut the truck off and I jumped out to listen.
Silence! I yelled down to where the sound was coming from "Do you need help?" No answer. No sound. I jumped in and ask Hunter and Mya to not panic and we'll leave. Hunter started the truck back up and the knocks came again but from his side of the truck and they were closer, then a really loud but fast growl.
We headed out of the area pretty hastily and for several hundred feet could hear knocks from behind and beside the truck just out of view of our lighting. We finally got far enough away that the knocks stopped or we were out of ear shot. I haven't been that scared in a long time. Hunter and Mya were about to cry afterwards.
Corinna Long and myself returned the following morning to look for evidence or record any sounds. We found nor heard anything up there but one bird.
- End Report -
Sure sounds like someone or something didn't want them around.
If anyone else from the area has experience something similar, then let us know.
Thanks

It was me Bobby I knew you would be up here 10 miles down the dirt road. So I waited four days so I could hang on the tree so you could hear it. It sucked walking back out but heck you were missing your pants so what's a ten mile walk out
