Did Bigfoot Throw A Rock?
I got the following report of a possible bigfoot throwing a rock into water. There are many reports of bigfoot throwing rocks, normally smaller ones, at people. Many think this is an effort to scary people away. There are also numerous reports of bigfoot throwing larger, basketball size or bigger, rocks into water to scare people away. My guess is that its very effect at running away unwanted strangers.
Here is the report and follow up

Date of Sighting: No sighting (May 30th,2020)
Time of Day: 8:45-900 pm
Nearest Town: Allagash Village
Length of Sighting: unknown
How many Witnesses: 1
Any Photos/Videos: No
Describe sighting in detail:
Camping May 30th on Allagash River about 35miles from nearest town Allagash Village. Party of four had dinner and retired to tents. By 8:15 am. Approximately 45 min - 1 hr later I heard a loud splash n plunging recoil noise. Very much like a large rock makes when thrown or dropped in water. I know sounds of wildlife like large beaver plunging from shoreline into river. Definitely not waterfowl or river otter. I'm opined the noise was from a large rock. Certainly very odd.
TM: Did you investigate the area?
M: I was unable to look for other signs. I was exhausted after paddling canoe on river 15 hrs. I will next time. The splash noise still is baffling.
Have you had any other reported encounters in Maine?
Regards

Thank goes to Marc for sending in his event. While just what made the splash is very hard to determine, we do have a pretty good list of sightings from Maine.
Here are a couple
Bigfoot tracks found in Maine
Possible Bigfoot Photos
There are many more reports from Maine and just as many in the neighboring state of New Hampshire.
Thanks
