Unknown Howls Recorded in Kentucky
I got the following report and video from a friend here in Kentucky. The video is filmed at night so there isn't anything much to see other than a white sock. The interesting part is a series of howls that permeate through the night air.
The video was shot by Larry, the last name withheld to protect identity, shortly after 3am on September the thirteenth of this year. The unknown howls were recorded in Mercer County.
Here is the short video highlighting a couple of the howls, followed by more information about the area.
As I spoke with Larry about the howls I ask him about the area and any Bigfoot sightings. Here is what he told me about the howls and area.
"This was recorded in Mercer County, right on the fringe of the community. It's all farmland behind us, but a city in front. The closest known sighting is about 4 miles away in 1894 by some farmers. They were pursuing a critter they called Ole Redeye.
This is the same area I've had my class A and class B sightings in, along with numerous other residents who have admitted to hearing these types of howls periodically.
It's in a place called Deep Creek, Ky. It's very woolly and very hilly with lots of caves and hiding spots."
I want to thank Larry for sending me the videos of the possible Bigfoot howls. I will say that I can't identify the howls. I know in many of these cases the unusual howls are normally a fox, but in this case, I'm just not sure what is making the sounds.
I also hope in the near future, Larry will submit his 2 Bigfoot sightings to us. It would be great to add them to our map.
Thanks
~Tom~
