When it comes to films, videos, and pictures, Bigfoot can look very different. Sometimes even witness testimony will give some different descriptions. One thing that is for sure, is that not all Bigfoot look just alike, whether they are made for a film or a real image captured by a witness. In the cases of film, there are many different variations depicted. The above image is a still frame from the 2013 film Shooting Bigfoot. This is the part where the director was supposedly attacked by a Bigfoot.
Of course, the general consensus of the film was that it was all a hoax, and I don't think you will find very many people who will debate you about it. But the particular part of the film where this Bigfoot knocks over the director has always had some question marks.
People often ask about the costume used and many debated as to where and which bigfoot suit was used. But a few days ago, I ran across a picture that was from a TV show about Bigfoot. I thought the CGI Bigfoot looked a lot like the one from the film Shooting Bigfoot. Here is the image and then a comparison.
I have no idea if the two images are connected or not but thought it was interesting that the faces of them look similar. Could the Bigfoot in "Shooting Bigfoot" have been Computer Generated? I don't think it was, I always thought it was a dude in a suit.
Here is a few more examples of Bigfoot from films, and artist.
I have no idea where the above artist creation came from but it is pretty cool. On the left you have a classic neanderthal man and on the right what he would look like if covered with hair. It sure makes him look like a Bigfoot.
At left is the Bigfoot from the ultra cool film Something in the Woods
Directed by and starring David Ford and based on a real Bigfoot report. Creepy.
At right is the very famous Jack Links Sasquatch. They used him in numerous commercials with the tagline "Messin' with Sasquatch". The commercials were often very funny. The Sasquatch was played by Brian Steele a 6'7" actor. He played in over 40 "Messin' with Sasquatch" commercials for Jack Links Jerky.
This is the same Brian Steele that played Harry in the TV series Harry and the Hendersons. I think almost everyone has watched the film version with lovable Harry and the odd ball Hendersons. It was a very entertaining film. But not all Bigfoot are portrayed as a lovable, gentle giant. In fact there an numerous films where the Bigfoot is is ferocious blood hungry menace.
In a way it is amazing just how much Bigfoot has filtrated into our culture. The Bigfoot universe seems to always be expanding and growing. If you look at the people who have some kind of interest in Bigfoot it is mind boggling at just how many there are. Artist, filmmakers, Researcher, old people, young people, men, women, policemen, doctors, truck drivers, and generally people from all walks of life in every part of the world. It seems we can never get enough Bigfoot information.
I guess with such a large base of people who are interested in Bigfoot, this is why we have so many different looking depictions of the creature. I think the majority of researchers and probably many enthusiast, understand that yes indeed, not all Bigfoot look just alike.
This post could go on and on about the many different depictions of Bigfoot. Just remember that depictions are based on each individual perception. It does not mean one person is right and one person is wrong when describing Bigfoot. One person may be focused more on looking at the face, while another may be focused on over all size. People draw upon their background and experience to describe or interpret information. In many cases, two people can see the exact same thing and they will describe it differently. There is usually many similarities but there is also somethings that will be different. It's just how our mind, experience, background and personalities work. We humans are a weird bunch.
Thanks
