Now, what actually started this was that I kept seeing repeating numbers as I went about my day. And maybe they had been around me for my entire life, but I just suddenly started seeing them about a year ago. Numbers like 11:11 would come up on a clocks. Or I’d see repeating numbers like 7:77 on license plates or 5:55 on a house or phone number. I just started noticing them everywhere. And the main thing I started to notice was that the same numbers repeated often. The exact same number might come up more than once in a day. And, in my paranormal world, I don’t really believe in coincidence. So, I became very curious. And even though it seemed a little silly to me, I started looking them up on the internet to see what the sages consider these numbers to mean. It didn’t hurt to look, right? For entertainment purposes if nothing else?
But I didn’t realize how wrapped up in this project I would become, and here’s why.
I started looking up each number that seemed to have something to say to me, as weird as that sounds. It seemed a little random and silly at first, but I just kept looking up each one that I kept seeing. And I did this as I was going about my normal life. When I saw a number that seemed to be glaring at me or repeating itself, I’d look it up to see what it meant. And I was amazed by how much it resonated with what was going on in my life at that time. And the message was generally positive, so there was no harm being done. And it was kind of fun. So I kept doing it. But before I go any further, let’s look at the basic number meanings:
Number One: Is about singularity, individualism, strength, and independence.
Number Two : Is about polarity, duality, pairs, partnerships, friendships, diplomacy, and cooperation.
Number Three: Is about the Trinity, triquetra, triangle, creativity, self-expression, humor, inner-child characteristics, and artistic abilities.
Number Four: Is about discipline, patience, hard work, determination, dignity, trust, loyalty, values, and morals.
Number Five: Is about life changes and the lessons learned through the experiences of these changes.
Number Six : Is about earthly matters and balance. It’s a reminder to keep a balance between material matters and spiritual matters.
Number Seven: Is about faith, spirituality, and manifesting what you want. It’s also considered a sign that you are on the right path in your life.
Number Eight: Is about encouragement, achievement, success, progress, and abundance.
Number Nine: Is a sign that a phase or chapter in your life is ending. It’s time to start over. Number nine can also be about service to humanity.
Number Zero: Is the number of the “God Force” and the universal energies. Zero is also the symbol of “nothingness” and represents freedom from constraints. It also amplifies the numbers next to it, therefore amplifying the emphasis.
And combinations of these numbers add up to special meanings and more detailed messages. 7:77 told me I was on the right track and needed to continue. 11:11 seemed to be telling me I needed to watch my thoughts as I was being too negative. 1234 told me to take steps toward something important that I wanted to accomplish. And the possibilities were endless. It was like a language that was being spoken to me all day long.
So, as I started following them every day, at first it was simply entertaining. But soon, it began to resonate in a serious way. I would have a question in my mind, and next thing I knew, a number came into my view. It could have been a license plate number as I was driving through traffic, a house number as I drove down the street, the price on my lunch receipt, or so many different ways. But I’d look that number up on the internet and it would give me an answer or encouragement that I needed for the question in my mind. And in a positive, nurturing way. And then I started doing something really interesting. I started following their advice and aspiring to their encouragement. I made a conscious decision to believe what the numbers were telling me. After all, what did I have to lose?
And over time, the numbers became bigger and I’ve have to pick them apart and interpret them in segments to get detailed answers. But by then, I couldn’t stop. Reading numbers everywhere had become a habit. A habit I still use every day.
My conclusion:
So what did I end up thinking about this and why do I still do it? Do I really think it’s a valid tool in solving my everyday problems? Do I believe they are messages from spirit guides? Am I buying into a superstition?
And my answer is this:
What does it matter? Some people would say I’m being shammed, and that numerology is just a system of assigning values to numbers for people to interpret so that they might feel better about their challenges in day to day life. And that very well may be true. But the law of attraction (which is a very real thing) is about positivity and believing in yourself and your abilities in order to make positive changes in your life. Nothing positive comes from thinking negatively. So being able to be positive may be the most important skill a person can learn. So, if I aspire to believe in them and the numbers create positivity in my life and they offer me some assimilation of support in my everyday challenges when I don’t have support anywhere else, what does it matter if it’s a system created to make people feel better? If it helps and it creates positive changes in a person’s life, it shouldn’t matter to anyone where it came from. And maybe we all need to be following the numbers.
