Loretta Lynn, born in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky, spent her whole life talking about ghosts, strange lights, and unexplained mountain activity. Growing up in the Appalachian hills, she said the nights were full of stories… and sometimes, the stories came to life.

Her childhood home sat in a hollow where the mountains pressed close, and folks believed the land itself held memories. Loretta claimed spirits moved things in the house, touched her, and made noises when no one else was around.
