On 7/8/2017, I was contacted by a person I will call John. While out in the morning, walking his dog, he discovered what appeared to be two very large, human looking foot tracks. The tracks measured an amazing 20 inches in length. He sent me several pictures of the tracks and we talked about his area of  Floyd County.

Back in 2005, John, had an actual bigfoot sighting almost in this exact same area. It would now appear that a bigfoot has passed back through the area. Here is how John described his 2005 visual sighting:

Are Bigfoot dying off?

The other night several of us were engaged in a conversation on Facebook about stick structures and whether or not Bigfoot makes them. Of course, most researchers who have done any research or investigated a real Bigfoot sighting will tell you that Bigfoot does in fact make stick formations, but of course not every broken limb or arch is created by a Bigfoot.

But this short article is not about stick formations but about the population of Bigfoot.

During our conversation about stick formations, one person made a statement to the effect that Bigfoot was dying out and the population was dwindling down. He went on to say that there are NO Bigfoot in the woods in his part of Ohio. He even said you would need hundreds of Bigfoot in an area to have a good breeding population.

Bigfoot in Kentucky (Mock up Photo)

So, I had heard about this sighting and I know the person who had it. But I hadn't have a chance to talk to them until a few days ago.  They don't really use the Internet or anything, so this was a face to face report I took. I ask them about doing a sit down audio or video interview and they are thinking about it but are very reluctant to do it for fear of being made fun of.
What I have done is take some notes about the encounter and then I filled out the information below. I know exactly where this sighting took place and many years ago had coon hunted the same area.

Describe sighting in detail:
I was ginsening and I kept hearing what sounded like someone speaking Russian.  The sound would come and go and it really puzzled me but I kept looking for ginseng. I had just found a big 4 fork and shouted out "Thank the Lord" and all at once a rock about the size of a basketball went zipping by my head. It nearly hit me.
I looked up to where the rock came from and there stood 2 Bigfoots. A really large brownish red female Bigfoot with very large breast. It was standing up the mountain and looking at me. It was about 8 foot tall and was covered in hair. There was less hair around the eyes and cheek bones.  Beside of the large female was a younger Bigfoot. I could not tell if it was a male or female but it was as black as coal. It was much smaller than the female. I was scared to death and got out of there as the 2 Bigfoots turned and walked on up the mountain.

At the bottom of the mountain there was a small logging crew and I think that maybe the mother and child Bigfoot had been around the hill, above the loggers, watching them log. As I went up the mountain our paths must have just crossed.

After I got home I didn't tell anyone, as I thought they would just think I was crazy. I waited 3 days before I finally told my wife.

I personally know this person and I feel like they are telling the truth.  As he was telling me about this the hairs on his arms were standing up. I think he had a real encounter.  It is also commonly reported that Bigfoot throws rocks.

I hope to go to this area in the future as it is only a few miles from me and a place that I have been many times. If he decide to do an interview I will post it up.

Bigfoot

About a month or so ago me and my dad went to an area ( I call it area #2) where we know Bigfoot come around. We found this area where all the debris had been swept away. (see photo above)

Could a Bigfoot have been sitting in the sun or taking a nap or something? Maybe it was just watching down the hollow, there are some dogs in the area and I think in the past they have taken some dog food from them.  

In the middle of this cleaned area was what appeared to be a human type foot track. The only thing was that we had a few days of rain before we found it and it seemed to have wash away the track some.
I did manage to take a close up photo of what appears to be toe marks but this was taken late in the evening, so the photo is not really that good.

Of course, I can not say for 100 percent this was from a Bigfoot but I do know that Bigfoot travel this area. It was just last winter that I seen a Bigfoot in this general area on a snow covered day. This is also an area where Bigfoot seem to travel late at night and only in the winter months. There is a couple of small caves near by and I wonder if they just stay in this area during the winter to get out of the cold and snow. This is a small stream and some food sources, so I think that might be it.

I plan on keeping an eye on this area over the next several months. I have found stick formations and breaks in this area and have heard some really odd sounds at different times of the early morning and late at night. I was never able to record the sounds.

This is a short clip from a video shot by Tonya Staton. It was shot at Carter Caves, Kentucky in 2014. Carter Caves has been a hot spot for Bigfoot activity for many years now. Tonya has been doing research in this area and has found tracks in the past. In this video, there appears to be a figure walking on the side of a mountain. I have got in a couple more reports over the last few days. The ones I'll share today are not really complete but still worth sharing in my opinion. One is an older report, which you know I like because it shows a history of sightings in certain areas and the other is newer encounter that happened in Kentucky.

Here is the older one, I think it was from a person named Joann.

 Joann said:
"My mother lived in Calhoun county, Mississippi, she told me, her uncle lived in a rural area in the southern part of Calhoun county in the 1940’s.
Just a 1/8 of a mile down Moreland road, where he lived was a creek that ran into a very swampy area, he told her at night you could hear something hollering and some folks had seen a tall hairy creature at the back side of a field by the swamp.
My mother told me it was called “ FUZZY FOOT !”

 Now here is the second report. It comes from Joshua.

 "I was riding four wheelers with 4 other people, so 5 total, south of Berea Kentucky, a place that people go to, to ride four wheelers and off road vehicles called buffalo.  I will say before tonight, I didn't believe in Bigfoot or primates roaming around in the woods and no person coming across them or game and wild life but tonight has changed that......  
We road to a spot called look out mountain and from this spot you can see Richmond and Berea, on the way out we stopped to talk on the quads, turned them off and things were fine......  All of a sudden crickets stopped chirping and it became so so silent.  Our friend noticed the silence, at this moment a log was thrown and we were scared at this moment, but 15 seconds later a huge lime stone slab was thrown from the hill side toward us with massive force.  Its 4 am and I can't sleep thinking about this.  ......  I am baffled right now, in shock.  Thank you for reading, Joshua ******" (Name on file)

I have attempted contact with both of people who submitted these reports. The second report, the one that comes form Berea, KY, is really recent. I have got several other reports from the Berea area over the last couple of years. If contact is made with Joshua and more details are gathered, I will update this post or make a new one.
