I finally got a chance to get back out in the mountains. Going to the mountains is very relaxing to me, it helps keep me centered. I head out to one of my bigfoot areas and exchange some game cams. This is an area I have researched for many years. Over the years it has produced many interesting findings and experiences for me.

I recently received another Kentucky bigfoot sighting report. I was contacted by Jason on Facebook messenger and he wanted to tell me about a bigfoot sighting and encounter he had in Perry county Kentucky.

Perry county has a total area of 343 square miles, much of which is lush green mountains. The Daniel Boone National forest also stretches into Perry county. In other words, Perry county is an idea place for a creature such as Bigfoot. It has lots of forest land and a small mostly concentrated population.

I've got a little bit of a story to share with everyone today. Recently, I had to have some work done on our sewer system here at the house. During that time I had to removed most of my back yard patio. The patio was made of 12 inch square patio block. I had not put them back yet as after the sewer work was done, I had a lot of left over dirt I had to move first. It took me 3 days to move the dirt by hand with a wheel barrel, and spread the remainder out. Once I got that done, about 3 weeks or more ago, I've been busy and been putting off placing the patio blocks back.

Well, today with it being a nice cool October morning, I thought I would get out there and get them patio block back in place. It is this time of year that we sometimes build a small fire in the fire pit and enjoy the cool nights. So, I need to get them patio blocks back down and in place.

I recently got an interesting story told to me by a man I will only call Anthony. Even thought the events happened many years ago, it goes along with numerous other tales about kids and Bigfoot.

We can't bring up the subject without mentioning the recent story where the little boy was missing and later found. The little boy say a bear helped him but many believe the "bear" was a Bigfoot. And it makes more sense that it was a Bigfoot. The 3 year old boy was missing for days and once found stated something to the effect that  "A friendly bear helped him"

But Bigfoot researchers who spend a lot of time in the woods and understand nature better than most skeptics know that, in the woods, you don’t find many bodies...of any animal. And historically, there have not been many good skeletal remains of any kind of woodland primates found.

Believing in such things as Bigfoot and UFOs carries a heavy price sometimes. There is a stigma that we believers have to endure on an ongoing basis. We are called crazy, nuts, and are often asked if we are on drugs. It's not very pleasant to hear these things, but it happens very often.

Recently, I had made a comment on a totally different subject, and of course, the first reply back was a degrading comment about me believing in Bigfoot and UFOs. It's like if you believe in those types of things, you can't have any opinion or knowledge about anything else. If you believe in that, then you are just a dumb, uneducated person, or you have some serious mental issues.

Let me first start by saying that I personally have a hard time believing most of the reports of a "bigfoot" type creatures that come out of Florida. I think probably the best possible evidence caught over the past several years was the Stacy Brown FLIR video, and some disputed it. I thought it was a good video and worth studying. Some of the top names in Bigfoot research also think it to be of a real Bigfoot/Skunk ape.

The reason I have a hard time believing most Skunk Ape evidence that comes out of Florida is that I think there is a lot of misidentification of said evidence. What many may not know is that there is a fairly large population of monkeys in Florida. I think often times tracks are mistaken for Bigfoot tracks when really they at monkey tracks.  In 2015, News 4 reported that the monkey population was spreading in Florida. That the population in Silver Springs State Park alone was over 200 monkeys. But that is not all. A trapper working under state permits reported capturing 772 monkeys from the park between 1998 and 2012. But there are still many more monkeys in Florida.

Recently, I was contacted by a friend, who just discovered that I conduct Bigfoot research and log sightings. We haven't been in contact with each other for a few years, but that changed thanks to social media. It was good to message back and forth with an old friend.

As most of you know Bigfoot is not exclusive to the United States but is also found in many parts of the world. I ran across the following possible Bigfoot report and it comes from Severodvinsk, Russia.

The image (above) is a still frame from the video. From what I can gather the man was driving on some snow covered roads while filming with the idea of posting it to the internet. While driving he sees this figure moving through the snow. He even stops and walks over and films it walking towards and into the woods.

This past Saturday we had the Harlan Haunt Fest, as many of you already know. At the end of the event, we had a Ghost Walk and a Ghost Hunt. This part of the event was conducted by Myself (Thomas Marcum), Tony Felosi, and Joe Clark. Also assisting the hunt was David Saylor who played Manzo Shepherd in the film "Manzo Shepherd Story" and team member Jennifer Fugate.

We had a nice group of people who took part in the ghost walk and hunt. During the ghost hunt, we used several different ghost-hunting tools. We encouraged everyone to participate some used various meters and some asked questions during the EVP sessions.
