Exploring Another Old Coal Mine & Sharing Thoughts
Another day and another adventure out in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. The temperatures have been pretty chilly in the early morning hours. Even though my knee is not all the way back to normal, I wanted to hit the mountains and look for ginseng and bigfoot evidence. Winter is just around the corner and during that time I will have very limited outside time, so better make the best of the fall time.
This was an outing that took place on September 27th and this post will contain a total of 2 videos. In the videos I share many thoughts about several topics....and yes I know the videos are rather long and they will not get many views...but they are what they are. If you want to know some of my thoughts while looking at some beautiful scenery, then you might like the videos.
On this particular day, I started out early and was heading out to explore for bigfoot evidence and to look for ginseng. During the outing, which covered around 6 miles in rough terrain, I stumbled across another series of old coal mine openings. But before we get into some of that here is, for lack of a better term, video 1.
I know, if you watched the whole video, that some will not like some of my comments about bigfoot evidence, but that is fine. Heck, some may not like any of my comments about some of those topics...but that is just part of it. You can make everyone like you ...no matter what you do.
And that one area I was in was about as rough and steep as it gets in that part of the mountain. At that point, the knee was holding up well and I had not had any problems. But on my way out of the mountains, it started to bother me a little and is slightly swollen up today.
Now, let's talk a little about this series of old mine openings. This is another great area for bigfoot to hide, live or even travel. What I thought was really interesting was the small structure I found in front of the openings. This just was very unnatural looking and it is consistent with a number of other structures I have found over the years. These types of formations can, and seem to always, vary in size. Some are rather large and some are kind of smaller.
Here is the old coal mine video
I guess most people are looking for that quick video that shows you something more with no details but I like sharing my adventures this way. In the videos, I kind of let my guard down a little and shared, probably, too many thoughts. It's a rarity, so enjoy. Plus we do many other videos that are probably more appealing to you...so check those out if you don't like this kind.
Anyways, I'm enjoying exploring and learning this section of the mountain. There are other places that I know really well and any time you go into a relatively new area like this ...it takes time to really learn about the area.
Hope you enjoyed the adventure and I'll see ya next time.
Thanks
~Thomas~
