This post is just to alert our readers and follower of a new Bigfoot book that was recently published. The title of the book is "Bigfoot- My encounters with the forest people, America's last free tribe". Yeah the title is a mouth full.

The book was written by Midnight Owl and Richard Taylor. It is my understanding that this is only book 1 and that there will be more volumes released in the future.

Here is a summary of what the book is about according to the amazon listing.
"My book is an account of my first close encounter that occurred quite unexpectedly and subsequent personal contacts with the Forest People commonly known as the Bigfoot/Sasquatch. I have included photographs and video picture clips taken during my field research activities. They display how elusive these subjects can be. One of the primary reasons many folks do not notice or ever see one. I am not offering this as evidence of their existence, but rather sharing information I have collected with folks who find this phenomenon extremely interesting and would like to learn more."

I was also sent a person email by the author and here is what he told me in  regards to his book.

"It relates my early experiences with supporting pictures how I came to know they were something far more than an animal. 
 
My hope is that people reading from these personal accounts realize these subjects are not something to hunt, stalk, chase and kill.  Hopefully they don’t receive the same fate as my Native American ancestors received back in the early 1800’s.  Time will tell.
 
Anyone following this unique subject will find this book very interesting.  I have included supporting pictures showing how elusive these subjects can be.
 
This endeavor is my first attempt with sharing my material to the open public.  I plan to share more, but it takes time producing this.

So, I thought I would share this and attempt to help out a new author. I know as a author and film maker myself, that getting others to help market your material is very difficult. I personally have been turned down and totally ignored by the many people I have contacted.

I must also be upfront and let everyone know that I have not personally read this book. I'm just helping get the word out about it.
