Today I'm a little off my normal pathway of looking for Bigfoot. Today I want to write about the terms Clairaudient and Clairsentient. As we know it is often said that we are born with with some psychic and/or intuitive abilities. I think at one time or another we have all experienced something that would fall into the realm of psychic ability.
If you do any searching on the internet or read in some books, you might have ran across the two terms, Clairaudient and Clairsentient. These may be unfamiliar words for you, so I wanted to make a brief post explaining them a little.
Clairaudient is something you may have and not really know it. A person who is clairaudient may have the ability to hear sounds that other people can not hear or the ability to hear inaudible sounds.
If you have ever heard someone say your name and turned about to find no one there, you may be clairaudient.
When you have this ability you may hear faint sounds of music or other sounds that are subtle. You may also hear more dramatic sounds like voices.
People who are clairaudient often times enjoy quiet times. This is because they are both emotional and psychically sensitive to sounds. Too much noise may make them tried and irritable. So quiet time is a must for them.
A couple more interesting things about people who are clairaudient is that they often talk to themselves and many are musical inclined, often times play by ear.
One of the more fascinating traits and one that may even tie to Bigfoot, is the ability to hear animals. Not that the animal is talking with its mouth but the person gets blocks of thoughts in their mind. In the Bigfoot word it is normally called "Mind Speak", if it is indeed the same thing.
Now how about Clairsentient?
The word clairsentient loosely translated means "clear sensing" or "clear feeling".
Clairsentience is the ability to feel and experience energy in an intuitive way. This energy may be from other people’s feelings, inanimate objects, spiritual insights, and premonitions of the future. An empath is clairsentience that focuses and read the emotions of other people, living or passed.
People with clairsentient ability may possess some of the following traits:
Gut feelings - Like turning to the right while driving instead of going straight and in doing so they avoid an accident.
Sympathy and Empathy - They can feel other peoples feelings and if strong enough, can cause them to become very emotional.
Physical sensations - They may feel tingling in the crown of their head. They may also feel pulling, tapping and other touching sensations.
There are some other interesting things about people who are clairsentient. Many times they are diagnosed with anxiety, depression or other similar disorders. Sometimes they may even develop compulsive and addictive behaviors to such things as food or even drugs. The person with this ability may become very overwhelmed and not understand all these emotions they are feeling. It can be a very difficult thing for them to realize and understand.
Now, this is not an all inclusive list of traits for people who are clairaudient and clairsentient. There are many other things that seem to be associated with people who have these abilities. It is also not uncommon for a person to be both clairaudient and clairsentient.
It is also not uncommon for paranormal investigators to have some level of these abilities. Often time you will see and hear them talk about the energy in a room or building.
So, there is a quick look at the subject at hand. I hope you got something out of that and it gave you a better understanding about the terms.
