Colin Haggerty - Bigfoot Or Not
It's always exciting when new paranormal shows and documentaries make their appearance in our TV programming. But there are real problems attached to that. The producers are looking for attracting a larger viewing audience. And that's where the subject is done a disservice.
For example, one of the newer ones is "Paranormal caught on camera" on Travel Channel. There have been some great segments presented on varied topics. But we need to exercise caution. The videos produced are not always real. Some may be real; some are deliberately misinterpreted; some are jokes; some are hoax.
Let's take the Colin Haggerty Oregon bigfoot story shown on May 22, 2019.

Melissa Smith of Toronto, Ontario, Canada suffered a miscarriage in September of 2016. Not long afterwards, she claims a musical toy turned on by itself in her living room and started eerily playing music in the middle of the night. This along with other unspecified events forced the young woman, a paranormal skeptic, to rethink her beliefs.

The following report was published by The United States Gazette of Philadelphia. It was a letter written to William McCarthy, a well respected business man. The letter was written by a Mr. Salmon.
"Mr. Wm. McCarthy -Sir: I feel it my duty to inform you that I have seen what I suppose to be a sea serpent, since I left your village. In a few days after I came home, I was informed by two men, Thomas Jones and Israel Rulon, that some unusual animal was in the creek, but that they could not tell what it was.
I thought but little of it at the time, but concluded I would go and see for myself. In proceeding down the creek, (when probably half way) I saw some animal in the water, its head raised about eighteen inches above the surface, and turning it's head each way.

But what is the story of this two-headed giant?
Here is the back story about Kap Dwa.......

Archaeologists Find Mermaid Skeletons? Well, not exactly. This story is a little bit old but I must have missed it, so I guess others did as well. But it appears it was a pretty hot item for a while.
First lets start with the story that circulates with the photographs. It go something like this:
"Ancient skeleton of a mermaid before the Flood 8 millenniums ago was found near Sozopol Beach by Professor Dimitrov."
The story caught fire after it was shared on facebook by journalist Petar Genchev. Some reports say the journalist's name was Peter Dale. The photographs and story instantly caught fire and spread quickly. It also caused a debate about mermaids being real and the new findings seemed to confirm it for many people. But were the story and the findings actually real? The short answer is no but there is more to the story. It appears this was not really an attempt to hoax, originally.

This reportedly was shot in Provo, Utah, which has been home to several possible bigfoot videos over the years, is it a hot spot or is it a hoax spot? This video is interesting but sadly the video is not good enough to make a clear judgement based on the visual content of the moving picture. So, we have to take aspects of the video and attempt to gain more knowledge about the figure.

I'm not even sure where this photograph comes from, I mean geographically, but I think it comes from within the United States. It seems some are suggesting it is the Lizard man of Bishopville, but I'm not sure about that. The Bishopville lizard man is said to be some type of reptilian cryptid from South Carolina and it has been well researched and documented.
As for the above photograph, reportedly someone took a picture of this odd looking figure as it crossed a river. They supposedly described it as being some type of lizard man, but it kinda looks like a dogman or werewolf type of thing, but I guess it could be a lizard. The photo is blurry and out of focus. The figure is bipedal and has a humanoid looking body with a dog (ish) tail.
I personally think the image is a photoshopped fake and that the story is probably not real. So, I took some time, but not much, to zoom in on the figure and try to clean it up a little. After that, I ran the original image on some software that looks for signs that the image is a fake or that it has been manipulated with some type of photo editors.
The image showed or matched several photo editing softwares. These included: GIMP, Paintshop Pro, and paint.net. It also appears the original image, which I will assume was just of the river, was taken with an Olympus camera.
In the end the software concluded that there was a high probability that the image was processed and/or edited. I tend to agree and think the image is a fake. I do however think there is something to the Lizard man reports from South Carolina.
Thanks

It's time for another episode of The Crypto Files!
In this episode, we take a look at a video of a yeti. The video was sent to us by one of our followers. The figure moves to the right in the video but what is odd is that at the first of the video, it is just standing there frozen. Have a look and see what you think about it...is this real or is it a hoax?

Still frame from the video. Is this a Bigfoot?
Here is what the description says about the clip.
"Clip Description: Two fishermen brothers are out in the woods by the creek catching fish one day and they hear what sounds like an loud roar and breaking trees. They leave right away thinking its a bear. The next day they go back to investigate and see what it was that made that sound and to see if any tracks were left in the snow...What they capture on film is very creepy!!"
Here is the video.
It seems that the description is not accurate to the video. The two brothers don't say anything about hearing a "loud roar" or "breaking trees", but state they discovered the tracks. But the video is interesting and what ever this is appears to be crouched down on the balls of it's feet.
I have attempted to zoom in on the figure more.
Here is the same still frame grab with more enhancement.
I guess in the end we just can't say for sure if it is a real bigfoot or just a guy in a suit but at least it is a pretty interesting video. You can see the figure swaying back and forth a little.
Thanks

It seems Yowie researchers in Australia have just as much trouble with hoaxers as we do. Maybe more since Yowies seem to be far more elusive than Sasquatch.
The following is a video posted to Youtube by dragonsidhebladenew, that has just surfaced on Facebook and is being touted by some as the Patterson-Gimlin film of the Yowie. So, of course, we had to take a closer look.

Some love him, some hate him but almost all from both groups follow him and keep up with his story.
This whole story started around a year or so ago with the famous tent video and then a claim by Dyer of killing the bigfoot seen in said tent video. Now the body of the dead bigfoot is being presented by Dyer and according to him a tour will be conducted across the country.

Could this really be a skull?
[I do not know where this story originally came from and have no idea who to credit for the photos]
For a long time now sightings of what is call "Wildman" have persisted in some regions of Minnesota. Many witness testimonies have been gathered and most report the Wildman as being large, hairy and having a bad smell. Most of you remember the famed Minnesota iceman that was shown for years in sideshow exhibits in shopping malls, state fairs and carnivals. The Minnesota Iceman depicts a man like being that was promoted as a "missing link" and a "Living Fossil".

Is this a baby Nessie?
Supposedly there was an expedition in 1912 to try and prove the existence of the lake monster we call Nessie.
Alexander Moore, a biologist (?), traveled the lake for three weeks and discovered what was described as a baby Nessie. The baby was already dead when Moore found it but according to the story Moore was able to recover the heart, a kidney and a section of the small intestine. I'm assuming that Moore removed these parts from the dead carcass. These parts are what is seen in the photo above.
Up until 2010 this unusual find was exhibited in the Museum of Curiosity. I'm not sure if this was the somewhat famous traveling museum that was or maybe still is, in London or not.
Now many, from what I gather, say this is nothing more than a hoax and that the mummified creature is nothing more that a creation made out of paper or that it's a known animal that has been altered to appear unusual.
In any case there has been numerous reports of people seeing Nessie over the years, so what if it is really a baby Nessie? What if this creature is really reproducing? I would assume that Nessie sightings will continue for many years but if there is only one Nessie creature then at some point the sightings will stop completely.
The Loch Ness Monster is a crypid, reputedly a large unknown animal that inhabits Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. It is similar to other supposed lake monsters in Scotland and elsewhere, though its description varies from one account to the next. Popular interest and belief in the animal's existence has varied since it was first brought to the world's attention in 1933. Evidence of its existence is anecdotal, with minimal and much-disputed photographic material and sonar readings.
The most common speculation among believers is that the creature represents a line of long-surviving plesiosaur. The scientific community regards the Loch Ness Monster as a modern-day myth, and explains sightings as including misidentifications of more mundane objects, outright hoaxes, and wishful thinking. Despite this, it remains one of the most famous examples of cryptozoology. The legendary monster has been affectionately referred to by the nickname Nessie.
- Wikipedia -
Now while the Wikipedia gives a date of 1933 for Nessie to have been brought to world attention, if this story of a baby Nessie and the three week expedition is true then sightings must have been happening long before 1933.
Thanks for reading.

The Guys over at FBFB have posted this tiny sliver of a photo from the shooting bigfoot movie and have said that it is for sure not a mask and a real bigfoot.
Is it the same? is it different? You can decide for yourself.
Now how does it compare to the artwork?
Do they all look enough alike to be the same creature? You can decide for yourself.
I wanted to share this because I know a lot of people wanted to see the actual creature from the film, so there it is ....how do you feel about it now? Does it change your mind?
Thanks

Close up from the tent video
First I want to cover the youtube video where a man went to the possible site where Dyer killed the bigfoot. While there he interviewed a homeless man who confirmed that Dyer and a film crew was there for about a week. The young homeless man also confirms that he did hear gun shots but never seen any bigfoot body.
What was a little humorous was it appears that this was a video to expose a hoax but after talking to the homeless man it comes off as showing evidence it is all real. An insider had already told me the name of the young homeless man in the interview, which I did not post, but Dyer confirmed the young mans name as Jeff and that was also what I was told. I was also told more info about the area where this video was filmed but I have not posted it. I can report that according to my inside source that is not the actual kill site but it is fairly close. Here is the video with the interview.
So it would appear that the film is still on pace to be released in April, so at least it will not be that much longer to we will know the whole story. I think the video will be interesting regardless of how this all plays out.
Thanks

Did they see the body?
There is some kind of NDA between Jack, Jeff and Rick according to our source but the details were not made clear to me. I would expect that maybe one of the guys from Facebook/FindBigfoot will make a statement at some point as long as it does not break the NDA. We will have to keep an eye on this to see if we can confirm it.
So this will mean that in the last couple of weeks at least 4 new people have now seen the reported dead bigfoot body. These include: Musky Allen, Jeff Andersen, Jack Barnes and the unnamed person.
I know most have wrote this off as a hoax due to the Musky Allen comments flap but there have been several attempts at explaining the comments. Christopher Noel attempted to explain the comments issue recently in an interview and he also address the Fake bigfoot tracker website issue.
There is even more news about the Tent video Saga with evidence that it is indeed going to be at the Tribeca Film Festival. The name of the film has changed but it is listed and slated for the festival.
Here is the partial listing on the Tribeca website:
"SHOOTING BIGFOOT (aka OF MONSTERS AND MEN) (2011 TFI/Insurgent Fellowship)
Morgan Matthews, Director...."
There is also a poster being shown for the film but it is unclear if this is the official artwork or just a mock up. Here is that poster. It was created by Matt Broughton but has now been removed from his website.
While I can understand people using caution concerning the Tent Video/Dead bigfoot, we should remember that the video itself has not been shown to be a fake or a man in a suit.
MK Davis just released a GIF image of what appears to be the eye brow moving on the bigfoot in the tent video. Excellent work MK ! Here is that image.
This whole thing kind of reminds me of the Patterson-Gimlin Film, some believe it while others say it was a hoax. Many are attacking each other and fighting about if the dead bigfoot story is real or a big hoax. We have debated the Patterson footage for 40+ years now without any clear cut decision on if it's real or fake, but with the tent video/dead bigfoot story we should have a solid answer in a couple months at the latest.
So I will continue to follow the story until it either bangs or bust. I feel I have a responsibility to monitor the story as it could be a game changer for the bigfoot world.
Thanks

Well, the first thing I had noticed was that the illustration is ripped off of another report from Canada and reproduced without credit: I had previously posted the report and the illustration on my blog with due credit and so I recognized it. So the representation that this is "Their" Bigfoot body is already fraudulent and a deliberate attempt at deception while using somebody else's illustration in a manner the artist certainly would not have intended. Then there is a protracted matter of why their expert was one Musky Allen (of no especial credentials and no especial standing in either the Scientific nor yet in the Bigfooting community) instead of a previously-proposed Dr Don Jeffrey Meldrum. The answer was interesting in that it pointed up further lies and evasions.
So, what did Alan Musky really say about Dr. Meldrum? His latest statement sounds as if there had been a big misunderstanding, but clearly that was not the case. Here is what Alan Musky posted on a Facebook page called Bigfoot Warz yesterday : (click photo to enlarge)

Here is Meldrum's reply:
"I was just read a passage over the phone from a post by Mr. Allen claiming he made repeated attempts via email to invite me to go to Las Vegas, but that I requested my "usual appearance fee" of $5500. LOL.
This is a bald-faced lie. I checked to see if I might have missed ANY email correspondence from Mr. Allen and have nothing in my inboxes. Let Mr. Allen produce the emails from me. He can't. WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT THE RELIABILITY OF THE REMAINDER OF HIS TESTIMONY?"
End Statement
So can Musky produce the emails?
