More Strange Activity And Possible Tracks Found In Illinois

Last week, I reported a some strange goings on in one of my woodland areas. And as I was investigating the weird structures I found, I thought I might have spotted a black head peeking up over some tall weeds in the distance when I was driving through. And I searched a major portion of the area in question to see if I could find any footprints, but the ground was so solid and dry that nothing could be found.

But in the meantime, the rains came. And the hard clay of the area turned to mud. And it was then I knew I needed to go back out and look around again. I had cruised through there briefly in the middle of the week before the rain and hiked a short distance only to find another structure that I hadn’t seen before. And I planned to return on the weekend. And when I did, this is what I found.

It’s an arch of sorts made from trees that could not have been broken off and stuck into place by a human. The branches were much too large.



And I’ve observed, over the last couple of months. that these woods have been literally torn apart to the point that I could no longer dismiss the mess as having been done simply by the wind. The “mess” seemed too orderly. Like some kind of barricade was being created.


And I found other little curiosities like formations on the ground like this.


The sticks could have fallen this way, but it seemed odd. This reminds me of a goal line of some sort, as strange as that sounds.

But I got busy looking all around this configuration and the arch structure for anything else that was strange, when I came across this.


It’s a pretty good-sized footprint. My foot is around 11 inches, so I estimate this to be 18-20 inches long. In the right side of the frame, you can see where the toes had pushed into the wet mud pretty recently. And I looked for a track line, but the deadfall and the arrangement of logs and sticks everywhere made a trackline pretty impossible. So I moved around the structure looking for other tracks when I came across this one:

In this one, you can see some pretty clear outlines of toes in the upper left of the frame, looking pretty fresh. I thought this print might be a bit larger than the other and I might have at least two individuals, but of course I can’t be sure. But I can now say with a fair amount of certainty that Sasquatch exists in central Illinois.

In conclusion, I have to add that these findings were made on the edge of a suburban area and I don’t feel it’s necessary to go deep into the woods to find evidence of bigfoot activity. Illinois is supposedly ranked number 4 in the US for the number of Bigfoot sightings and is not well known for its large wilderness areas. There are many sightings reported near Chicago and St. Louis, Missouri. I believe they live right under our noses. They constantly astound me.
