3 Signs You’ve Dreamt Of Your Past-Life

By Dorraine Fisher

We’ve all lived before. We come to planet earth in the form of a soul in order to advance that soul to higher levels of consciousness. And we do that by living difficult 3-dimensional lives and learning lessons in the density and heaviness of a body.

Don’t believe it? There are clues along the way. We find ourselves in our current life with emotional issues of which we can’t seem to identify the origins...in this life. We will try to think back on our lives about how we became so afraid of water, or heights, or confined spaces, or any number of things that humans fear, but we can’t find them. There’s no possible reason why we should fear those things and yet we still do. Why?

The answer can often be found in our past lives. And sometimes our dreams will show us a movie illustrating that life. When we have our normal nightly dreams, our unconscious mind is trying to help us unravel our emotional issues so that we can heal and feel better. Whether we know it or not, as we came here to advance ourselves, our souls are always working on guiding us toward a certain level of healing. We need only to learn the language it uses to guide us. And part of that language comes in our dreams. And dreams about our past lives can be the most telling of all. They give us tiny glimpses into a past that we can’t recall easily in our waking life.

Unraveling The Nature Of Dreams About Animals

By Dorraine Fisher

Humans love animals. We know that our pets and farm animals have special significance in our lives. But what we don’t often think about is that animals play a key role in our existence for many reasons. Like it or not, we ourselves are animals and our connection to that world is still strong. For thousands upon thousands of years, animals have been an extension of us and they appear everywhere in our spirituality and symbolism. We’ve called upon them to summon strength when we needed, and wisdom. They hold a special place in our psyche that goes back to the beginning of time. And at no time is this more clear than when we’re dreaming about them.

Are You Dreaming About Monsters? Here’s Why
By Dorraine Fisher

Monsters are real.

At least in the darkest corners of our minds. They’re deeply entrenched in our psyche and even in our conscious thoughts. So, it’s no wonder they turn up in our dreams. But why are they always there?

We seem to be naturally drawn to the idea of them. It starts in childhood from the earliest days we’re able to construct complete thoughts. Even if we’ve never seen one, the monsters are always lurking. Why? Because fear is always lurking. The unknown is real. And when we’re a child, so much is unknown to us. Fear is ever-present. We feel powerless without the protection of adults. So, the monsters are more real to us then.

But what about when we’re adults? As we grow older and become better informed, why don’t the monsters disappear?

Unraveling Dreams About The People In Your Life

By Dorraine Fisher

Our dreams offer insights into our soul. They reveal our deepest fears and insecurities. But our dreams about the people in our lives are the most telling of all. Though we often overlook them as “just a dream.”

There is no such thing as “just a dream.” When we dream, our subconscious mind is hard at work sending us messages about what we need to fix about ourselves in order to be happy and feel better. And even nightmares serve this purpose if we examine them closely.

We often have dreams about strangers, but it’s the dreams about people we know that we should pay special attention to.

Moon Energy Report - Intense Energies Affecting The Planet!

By Dorraine Fisher

September 9, 2018 was the new moon in Virgo. New Moon energy can be intense at times, but this year makes that look like a whisper. Planet earth is being hit right now with intense solar and geomagnetic storms and we’re coming coming closer to Orion in the galaxy. So, this wave of hurricane-like storms hitting the planet is intensifying the moon’s energy. This new moon is feeling more like full moon energy, while the actual full moon this month will feel like the most intense full moon energy we’ve ever experienced.

But what does this all mean for us?

The Dreamer
by
Lisa Peters

I have always been a dreamer, whether I was sleeping or awake. When I was little, my dreams were not always your typical little girl dreams. Instead, of kittens and rainbows, I would also dream about deceased family members or people I did not know and far off places, that I had never been.

Sometimes when I had the visitor, they would tell me things such as they were happy and safe; there would a bright light around them. Other times, they would be scared or confused. Being little, I did not understand what I was dreaming. My mom thought I was being an emotional little girl and one who had a big imagination, and that I was having nightmares/night terrors.

The Meaning Of Dreams: Dreams About People
The Most Complicated Dreams To Interpret

By Dorraine Fisher

People often ask me to interpret their dreams. And the most complicated aspects of them is deciding what the people that appear in their dreams mean. It’s not an easy question to answer. Because the people in our dreams represent something other than just who they are. Often the people in our dreams aren’t people we know. So what are these people trying to tell us?

First of all, dreams have a spiritual and metaphorical nature. They aren’t cut and dry and they aren’t literal. Everything we see in them is symbolic. This includes everything in them: colors, shapes, animals, objects, AND people. They’re all their to tell us something about what’s going on in our unconscious mind that we’re not acknowledging consciously.

5 Ways To Remember Your Past Lives

By Dorraine Fisher

So, maybe you’ve decided that maybe your soul really is eternal and doesn’t die, and maybe you have lived before, perhaps many times throughout history. But what do you do with that information. Is there a benefit to exploring it? And if so, how do you go about it?

And some may ask if we really have lived before, why can’t we remember anything about our past lives? The answer is we can, but there may be a thousand years of history there and many of us can’t remember much of our time in THIS life that goes back more than 30 years. A lot is forgotten with the passage of time. But we have bursts or flashbacks or moments of deja vu in which our past lives come back, even if only for a moment or two. We also have karmic dreams in which we recall a past experience or place we’ve lived or visited. The trouble is, we don’t always know we’re recalling a past life and we don’t give it much thought. But our past lives are revealed to us more often than we think.

Dreams About Murder, Death, and Suicide!!!
Should You Be Worried?

By Dorraine Fisher

Having been a dream interpreter for well over 15 years, there are so many instances that people have come to me worried about nightmares of death, murder, or suicide. Either their own death, or a loved one. And it can be very disturbing or even traumatizing because of the impact it has on the dreamer. But if we have one of these kinds of dreams, should we be worried?

Your fears, worries, and frustration come to life in your dreams. And often you push emotions to the back of your mind because you don’t want to deal with them. It might be too painful or worrisome to deal with them or you may feel you just don’t have time. But if you don’t address them in you walking life, they’ll surely appear in your sleep at night. And they could turn into nightmares involving many kinds of death and destruction. Clear indications of something you’re really anxious about. So, let’s examine different scenarios.

Do You Have Prophetic Dreams?
Testing Your “Psychic” Abilities
By Dorraine Fisher

Some people claim to have prophetic dreams, or dreams that end up coming true in their waking life, sometimes up to the last detail, including real people, places, and events.  The trouble is, if you have a prophetic dream, you won’t know it until later when your dream disaster strikes in real life. So, is there a way to tell ahead of time if the dream you have will come true? This is tricky, but there are some clues to help you decide if you should be worried.

Normal everynight metaphoric dreams go like this:

Having Dreams About Your Ex?
The Meaning Of Dreams Of Relationships Gone Bad

By Dorraine Fisher
Since I do some dream interpretations for people, they often come to me asking about dreams about revisiting former relationships. Even relationships with people who may have done terrible things to them in the past or someone that they, for other reasons, wouldn’t think twice about rekindling.

And these dreams are often very disturbing to the dreamer. They come to me with fears they may be harboring some kind of hidden feelings of love for this person and not realize it consciously. And the biggest fear is that this may be interfering with a current relationship. They may start to question their feelings for the current person. Suddenly they’re not sure what they feel, and they might even come to believe their subconscious mind is hiding some terrible truth.

But hold on a minute! It may not be as dramatic as all that. There may be cause for a tiny bit of concern. But let’s not forget that our dreams are our own natural psychic abilities. They’re there to forewarn us of problems or things that may be bothering us of which we’re not consciously aware. And also, your dreams are rarely about other people. They’re almost always about what’s going on in YOUR own mind. Your dreams are all about YOU and YOUR feelings.

That all being said, if you’re suddenly having dreams about a love interest from a previous relationship, even someone from very long ago, don’t sweat it! Even if you’re kissing this person, sleeping with this person, and being otherwise very intimate with this person in this dream. And here are some things to consider before you start worrying.

Our past relationships are an important part of our history. Depending on how long they lasted, they probably made quite an impression on you, and even changed you in many ways forever. So, even though they’re over now, they’re still an important part of who you are.

And let’s be clear about one thing. If you still have feelings for someone, you know it. There’s no mistaking it. You may still think about that person every day and wonder quite often what they’re doing or where they are. And you may be hoping they’ll walk through that door looking for you.

But most of the time, you’ve resolved in your mind that it’s really over, or that person did things you can’t forgive, and you may even hate them for it and never, ever WANT to revisit a relationship with them ever again. This is when these dreams of rekindling a relationship with them are more disturbing.

But they very rarely mean that you are harboring any real feelings for them in the present. What these dreams most often mean is that things you’re going through in the present time are reminding you of them in some way. They’re reminding you of how you felt when you were with them.

Ask yourself what the first thing is you think of when you think of that person you used to love. And the answer to that question is what that person represents in your dreams. I.E. if cheating is the first things that comes to your mind when you think about them, then you need to think about whether you’re experiencing some terrible betrayal in your current waking life. Do your feelings about the current betrayal remind you of the feelings you had with that past person?

And this doesn’t have to be a betrayal in a love relationship. It could be any kind of current relationship in which you feel someone is cheating you...with a family member or colleague at work. It could be a group or organization; the government, your church or school. Anything.
And if you’re having some kind of intimate relations in the dream with this past love, it only means that you feel too close and intimate with these feelings in your current situation. It means it may be bothering you more than you consciously realize.

In a nutshell, the dream means that you’re having feelings in the present that are very similar to feelings you had in the past with this past love. It doesn’t mean you want to rekindle a relationship with that person. It only means that your current waking life situation is invoking the same emotions you felt when you were with that past person.

And incidentally, if you are in a new relationship in your life and you’re suddenly having dreams about an ex, this could mean that the new relationship is somehow reminding you of that past relationship in some way. So you have to give some serious thought to that current relationship and make sure you’re not making the same mistakes you made with the past person. Your dream is telling you that there are similarities, and that you need to proceed with caution.

After all, that’s what dreams are really for. To help you predict problems before they happen and to make you understand what’s going on in your unconscious mind that you’re suppressing. Your dreams always know the right thing, and they’re reminding you that you also know the answers. Even if you’re not acknowledging them.

So the next time you have a dream you’re having a torrid love affair with your ex, don’t worry

It’s only to literally wake you up to what’s going on in your present life.

Learning To Read The Signs Of Your Past Life
By Dorraine Fisher

So you don’t think you’ve lived before? If you observe yourself more closely, there are many things that might make you wonder. What about those things about yourself that defy explanation? All those things about your character that seemingly came from nowhere and for no apparent reason? Are there things about yourself you just don’t understand? Why do you feel the way you do about certain things? Past life researchers claim that all these details could be clues to what may have been your past life experiences.

Personality Traits: Are there aspects of your personality with no genetic explanation? Traits that don’t resemble those of your parents or anyone in your family? Do your family members joke that you can’t possibly be related to them because of it? Whether it’s good or bad, this could be a trait you picked up in your experiences in a past life.

Dreams: Do you ever have dreams that seem very vivid and are historically accurate? Are you wearing period dress for the time? Does everything in the dream fit the template for a certain period in history? This could actually be a memory of events that took place in a past life. Have you ever had a dream about someone you know? Maybe you know the person, but he/she doesn’t look the same in the dream. Past life researchers say that we all tend to stay with the same souls throughout numerous incarnations. So these dreams can be telling you who this person was in a previous life. The dreams may be pointing to a recollection of them in a past life in this particular period in history.

Your Comfort Level: Why do we feel more comfortable in certain settings and not others? It could have something to do with our state of mind in these settings in a former life. Do you love the mountains? Does the seaside feel more like home to you? Do you suddenly feel exposed when the landscape becomes devoid of trees? Do you prefer small houses to large ones? All these can indicate where you have lived and been happy and most comfortable in your past lives. You may have been happy in your home in the mountains in a past life, and this may determine why you might feel more peaceful in the mountains in this life. If you feel more comfortable in small houses, you may have been a member of a clan or tribe in a past life that occupied tents, huts, or other small dwellings.

Unfinished Business: Have you had an ambition or drive to do something almost since the day you were born? Did your parents say you started doing this from the day you started to walk or talk? This is an indication of some unfinished business from a previous life. Something may have happened in that life that kept you from succeeding at this occupation you loved the most, and you may have naturally picked up, in this life, where you left off.

Affinity For Travel: Even though you live in one place, do you long to live somewhere else? Do you travel there as often as you can and feel connected to this place for no apparent reason? Did you fall in love with a travel destination before you even got there? Do you dream of moving to some other place in the world even though you’ve never been there and only know if from pictures? It might be that you just like the landscape and the culture, or it just might be that you’ve lived there before in a past life. This place might feel like home because it has been your home before in a past life.

Unexplained Fears: Do you have a terrible phobia about something and you have no idea why? Maybe you fear something like the water but have never had any bad experience in water to cause the problem. So it may be possible that you had a negative experience in water in a past life. Maybe you drowned or maybe someone drowned you.

Unexplained Pain: Thousands of people are plagued with chronic pain, but quite often, the cause of it is not known. But past life researchers now believe that many cases of chronic pain can be traced back to some kind of accident or trauma in a past life. I.E. some who experience strange unexplained neck pain, often find under past life regression hypnosis, that they were hanged or strangled in a previous life.

Birthmarks: Do you have or know someone with a strange or otherwise significant birthmark? Do they strangely resemble scars or wounds? Some individuals with these kinds of birthmarks, with the help of past life regression therapy, have found they were injured or even mortally wounded in a previous life. And their birthmarks in this life will resemble the scar or wound they received in a previous life.

Incidents of Déjà vu: Have you ever gone to a place you know you’ve never been before, but when you get there, it feels strangely familiar? Have you had something happen to you that seems familiar, but you know it’s never happened before? It’s possible it actually has happened or you have been to this place before in a previous life and have suddenly been reminded of it in this life.

Children’s Tales: Have you ever known a small child to tell a fantastic story? Sometimes they tell long, elaborate tales with themselves as the main character. And quite often these stories are about things they couldn’t have possibly experienced in real life. Are these stories just products of an active imagination, or something else? Researchers say that children recall past lives more easily and they lose those memories as they grow older. It’s possible that these stories they tell could be recollections of events that took place in a past life.

Of course there is no real, hard scientific proof that reincarnation is real. But researchers are putting together a huge body of past life cases and there are many consistencies with people who make these claims. But past life regression therapists are reporting amazing results from these recollections of patients under hypnosis. It seems that some problems that plague us in this life can be alleviated by understanding what happened in our past life and what may have caused the problem in the first place. It seems to give patients some closure and a reason why. Once they know the reason they are the way they are, they can move on and find some peace. That alone is worth considering the possibilities. *******DF

the lonely window
This was the photo that stunned me. The side of the house and the porch. Note the curious, single, "lonely" window on the second floor that I had remembered.

The Shift – Belief In Reincarnation
The Day My Beliefs Changed Forever
By Dorraine Fisher

I never believed in reincarnation. Such an idea seemed ridiculous. Not to mention illogical. But there was a time about five years ago that things happened to make me change my mind.

I was going through a very trying period in my life, and, with all the emotional stress, my dreams seemed to come alive at night. They were so lucid most of the time that I decided to start writing them down. And I was so curious about their meanings that I decided to buy a dream dictionary so I could try to make sense of them.

The Nature Of Nightmares
The Truth Behind Our Bad Dreams
By TCC Team Member Dorraine Fisher
Dreams are curious things. And they always seem to be more prominent when we have things going
on in our lives. Triumphs, tragedies, death, disaster, joy, fear, and pain seem to bring the old
unconscious mind into the active phase.  And that’s when our dreams come to the forefront.
We all have a sense of inner knowing. Deep inside we know everything about ourselves, but we don’t always acknowledge it all.  In dealing with events of our everyday lives, the seemingly less important things are ignored...until they become a problem. This is when nightmares can occur.
Our unconscious mind is where we store all the stuff we don’t want to deal with or aren’t quite ready to deal with. And all those unconscious thoughts can pile up and overload.  And when that happens, they start pushing their way out into the conscious mind. And, without knowing why, we may be faced with emotional problems that have already become too overwhelming to address. That’s what makes us think we’re going crazy sometimes when we don’t quite understand the reason. But our dreams are trying to tell us the story. They can often seem mundane or even just plain silly, so we often ignore them. But we shouldn’t, because there’s always an important message in them. They happen for a reason, and they’re trying to save us the hassle...if we pay attention.
Nightmares are the dreams that stick in our minds the most because they can sometimes scare the living daylight out of us.  But they’re often not as horrific as they seem.  They’re not usually clear prophecies of something bad that’s going to happen. They don’t usually predict death or tragedy. They usually are only trying to tell us something about our state of mind. Dreams predict and show us our mental disturbances. They can help us deal with our problems before they escalate.
Nightmares are the nighttime manifestation of our worst daytime fears. But they indicate that we’re ready to address those fears. Often we think we’re feeling fine during the daylight hours. But nightmares indicate that something is going on under the surface that we’re not acknowledging. The symbolism in nightmares offer clues to what’s bothering us the most and needs to be dealt with. So it’s helpful to learn a little bit about those symbols.
Funerals are a common scene in nightmares. And the association with death can be disturbing to the dreamer. But these death symbols are more likely a symbol of rebirth or great change. You may be making a transition of some kind in your life, and the funeral symbolizes the death of the old you in order to make room for the new. The dream is simply telling you that you’re ready to make the change. The only time you should really be worried about a prophecy of death is if the dream contains very specific details, like names on the headstone, specific dates, numbers, obituaries, funeral details, etc., and this is an extremely rare occurrence.
Dreams of attacks by wild animals are also common nightmare scenes. But animals in dreams represent different emotional states. And the emotional state takes on the personality of the animal in the dream.  For instance, an attack by a bear in a dream may symbolize an “attack” in your waking life by a situation that’s “overbearing” or “unbearable.” Or being attacked by rats may signify that you’re being “plagued” by a diseased element in your life, or that something is very disturbing or fundamentally wrong inside you.
Nightmares of violent disturbances like fighting, explosions, vehicle crashes, etc. are all indications of emotional turmoil you’re experiencing that is about to boil over.  Fighting in dreams is about conflict inside your mind. Perhaps two sides of your personality are battling for control of you. Explosions indicate something you’re dealing with in your waking life that’s literally about to “blow up.”  Car crashes mean you feel you’ve lost control of a situation in your daytime life and are about to literally “crash.”
Falling in nightmares, accompanied by anxious feelings in the dream, indicates an intense fear of failure. While falling in a dream, and feeling good about it, indicates surrender or letting go of something you’ve been holding on to that may have been harmful to you.
Dreams about monsters are about problems in your life that seem to have “monstrous” proportions. They indicate frightening problems you may have that seem out of your control, like problems in the workplace or family dynamics you can’t change.
And nightmares about wounds and excessive bleeding are some of the most disturbing of all. Wounds in dreams indicate that you’re feeling emotionally wounded. The location of the wound can give clues to the nature of the emotional disturbance. If your hand is wounded in the dream, it may mean you feel your ability to accomplish things in your life is being damaged. If your head is wounded, it may mean your ability to think clearly in your waking life has been affected.
Bleeding profusely in a dream is about emotional exhaustion. Since blood is life, if you’re bleeding excessively in your nightmare, it may mean you feel the life is literally being “drained” out of you in your waking life.
Nightmares can be very scary, and seem very real. But they are rarely prophecies of terrible disasters in your daylight hours. More often than not they’re just trying to warn you of emotional turmoil to come. But the good news is there is a kind of psychic element to them. They’re trying to warn you BEFORE disaster strikes. They’re actually trying to give you a head’s up to the problems developing inside you. They’re trying to tell you what’s going on in your unconscious mind that you don’t yet consciously know about. So by learning to pay attention to them and interpret them you can learn to manage your emotions.
They’ll tell you you’re tired before you consciously know it, so you can rest. They’ll tell you a situation in your life is out of control so you can stop and find a way to get control.  They have the answers before you’re fully aware of the question. They’re trying to give you the head’s up and give you more control of your life. And when you understand them better, they’re interesting to think about too.  ******DF
