On tonight's episode of Finding Bigfoot -

Cliff has brought the team back to his home state of Oregon for the fourth time in search of bigfoot. With a bounty of bigfoot habitat, Cliff enlists professional drone pilots, who may provide the aerial support they need to get a beaver state sasquatch.

-
Here is a preview from tonight's show

The Crypto Crew has team members in Oregon and we can confirm that it is a great place for bigfoot. On tonight's show the Finding Bigfoot team will be near Mount Hood. Mount Hood is Oregon's highest mountain. The good news, is that there has been numerous reports of bigfoot from this area.

I hope to be watching tonight. I also think the show has been better, so far, this season than some of the ones in the past. I say that with at least one major exception....the part of the first show where Bobo wears as dress, that was just way out there. Funny, but ...no.

Enjoy the show.

Thanks
~Tom~

Tonight on Finding Bigfoot!

The team is in Georgia investigating sightings in and around the Ft. Stewart Army base. After meeting with a witness who saw a bigfoot through a thermal imager the team looks for the best place to hold their final night investigation.

Georgia is probably best remember in the bigfoot world as the home of the "Bigfoot in a freezer " hoax pulled by Rick Dyer. But it is also home of numerous creditable sighting reports.

Like the report of two duck hunters finding large tracks and following them. You can read that report by Clicking Here. There is also a sighting that TCC team member Jimmy Craze had and you can read it by Clicking Here.

So, tonight's episode has some good potential.

Here is the preview

Thanks

Tonight's Finding Bigfoot show looks to be a pretty good one for a couple reason. One reason, would be to get a looking inside Loren Coleman's Cryptozoology Museum. For many of us, who have never been there, it should be a good little treat. Another reason that I'm interested in tonight's episode is because we have taken in a few reports from Maine and many from close to the border in New Hampshire.

Here is the synopsis for tonight's show.

The team travels for the first time Maine. They split up to interview eyewitnesses and embark on multiple solo investigations. Matt records multiple bigfoot howls, and is confident they've pinned down a Pine Tree State Sasquatch.

Here is the preview trailer.

Make sure to tune in tonight, it should be one of the better shows.

Thanks
~Tom~

Matt Moneymaker and TCC Team Member Jason Morse
Back in April, I reported on how The Crypto Crew was providing information to the Finding Bigfoot crew for their upcoming show in New Hampshire. We now have an air date for that show. If you would like to review the post from back in April and view the pictures, then please click here.

Jason Morse and one of our witnesses was able to attend the town hall meeting and was invited back the next day. At this point we do not know how much the show will feature our team or our reports, we may not be in it at all. We have no control over the editing of the show or it's contents. We may be featured or we may not. But I feel we provided a lot of good information via email and via Jason and the witness. Now we just have to wait and see if any or how much of the information made it on the final cut of the show. In any case, we were glad to have the opportunity and everyone treated us very well.

The air date for the Finding Bigfoot New Hampshire show is set for January 17th.

Here is a little more information about the Finding Bigfoot crew being in New Hampshire. The town hall meeting lasted a reportedly 4 hours. The Finding Bigfoot crew heard several compelling reports. The Finding Bigfoot crew was in New Hampshire from April 7th - 15th.

The new season of Finding Bigfoot starts January 3rd, and the New Hampshire show on the 17th. I hope you will watch it and see if you can find us in the show.

This will be the 9th season of Finding Bigfoot! The season will feature shows in Maine, New Hampshire, Oregon and Georgia, just to name a few.

Thanks
~Tom~

About a month or so ago I was contacted again by producers for the hit TV show Finding Bigfoot.
They were interested in reports that we had taken from the New Hampshire area.

I was able to provide a good sum of information and pointed out we had a TCC team member in NH.

After it was all said and done Team member Jason Morse and one of our witnesses was invited to the town hall meeting.

After the meeting, Jason and said witness was invited back the next day. We can not comment any further on filming or anything, but we can share some photos and hear what Jason had to say about the experience.

Here is what Jason had to say:

".....the whole cast and crew were nothing but friendly and polite. Cliff was even nicer and more genuine in person, Ranae was funny, super nice........"

Jason with Cliff Barackman.

Back in 2014, I did an interview with Cliff. He was super nice. Check out the interview by Clicking Here!

Jason with Renae. Jason had this to say "......Both he (Cliff) and Ranae were really awesome."

Here is Jason with Matt Moneymaker.  Jason had this to say about Matt "...........Matt was really a nice guy"

I think sometimes Matt gets a little bit of a bad rap but he really has provided a lot information via the BFRO website.

And no visit with the cast of Finding Bigfoot would be complete without everyone's favorite member, BoBo.

Jason said ".... Bobo was ..... nice as well.."

Jason also had this to say "....In fact, all the cast knew about us (TCC), which was cool."

So, in the end Jason had a great time and I'm glad he was there to represent our Team.
We have no idea if Jason will actually make it on TV or not or if we will even be mentioned in any way but it was a good experience nonetheless.

I can only hope the information our team provided is useful and that it adds value to the Finding Bigfoot show. We of course can not talk about the details of the show due to NDA but of course we think it has the potential to be the best one so far. (lol)

Thanks to the producers and cast of Finding Bigfoot for showing us respect and a good time.

Thanks
~Tom~

What Are The Ohio Howls?
And Why Are They So Compelling To Sasquatch Research?
By Dorraine Fisher

If you take a look at the population of Bigfoot sightings on the sightings map on the BFRO (Bigfoot Field Research Organization) website, you’ll find the number of Ohio sightings compare well with the numbers of sightings in the Pacific-Northwest. It’s one of the top states for sightings in the U.S.

In 1994, researcher and BFRO founder, Matt Moneymaker, recorded these howls in Columbiana County, near Wellsville, on the Ohio River. And it’s still considered one of the most compelling pieces of sound recording evidence for the existence of Bigfoot. It has the guttural quality of a very large creature and doesn’t sound like any known animal in Ohio.

But you don’t have to take my word for it. Listen and see what you think.

This is the featured video that will be on tonight's Finding Bigfoot Show - I think

When this video first was posted back in May, it caused a big stir and many claim it is a real bigfoot. I grabbed a still frame from the video and done a little enhancement to it.
I also post the photo on May 25th on our Facebook Page .

Here is the enhanced photo

A few others seem to be using my enhanced photo as theirs but in any case you can see this is a person in a sport coat and maybe has glass on. It will be interesting to see what the experts have to say about it. I don't know if you would call this a hoax or just a misidentification but it is clearly not a bigfoot.  Light and shadow can trick us sometimes but it seems to trick some people all the time.

Thanks
~Tom~

Scott Carpenter was recently on the TV show Finding Bigfoot. Scott is a bigfoot researcher from Tennessee and had successful samples in the recent DNA study.

Here is a enhancement of the game cam photo used on the Finding Bigfoot TV show and the one Scott talks about in the video above. I did this enhancement months ago.

Finding Bigfoot team dismissed this photo as inconclusive and stated it was pareidolia.
(Pareidolia -  psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus. Common examples include seeing images of animals or faces in clouds.)

I guess the Finding Bigfoot crew is waiting for a bigfoot to walk out, shake hands and introduce itself.

Also Scott talked about the town hall meeting and I did an interview with Steve who told his encounter at that meeting, but his report was cut from show. He was the man sitting wearing a red baseball cap. I personally know Steve, Here is that interview.

I would guess that there are many good reports made during these town hall meetings that never make it any further than that room, So I'm very glad that at least Steve's encounter can be told. After this interview I did with Steve a few other people talked to him about their encounter. One in which a man seen a bigfoot chasing a deer close to the area Steve had his sighting.

Also I would like to state that Mr.Carpenter was very good on the show and has kept a good attitude about being on it.
We wish him more success with his research.

Thanks
~Tom~

TV critics took on Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot during a contentious panel at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
Reporters have spent nearly two weeks in a hotel interviewing actors and executives promoting TV shows, including the Finding Bigfoot show.
A critic points out: If these guys actually find bigfoot, such huge news is not going to really stay quiet until a regular episode of Finding Bigfoot airs. One asks: Has Animal Planet run out of real animals to do shows about? Yet another wonders: First Animal Planet airs a mermaids special, now this — isn’t Animal Planet damaging its brand with this stuff?

Animal Planet’s president, Marjorie Kaplan, is good humored about the situation. “Animal Planet has many shows about animals that may be more familiar to you,” she says. “Finding Bigfoot is an exploration of the secret corners of the planet … There are places on this planet that we know about and places we don’t … New species are being found all the time.” Kaplan also points out that the Mermaid special had a very high rating.
Kaplan's reply was spot on and a very good way to respond. The same maybe can not be said for Matt Moneymaker and  James “Bobo” Fay.

“I’ve had one 15 feet away growling at me,” declares bigfoot researcher Matt Moneymaker. “So that’s why I think it’s [unfortunate] when people say they’re not real. They exist … I don’t think people realize how many witnesses there are out there … For those who don’t think these things exist, [famed primatologist] Jane Goodall thinks they exist** — and she may know a little more about it than you do.”

“You can’t equate bigfoot with mermaids,” said bigfoot researcher James “Bobo” Fay. “You’re ignorant of the subject matter.”

So it was a fiery exchange between the critics and some of the Finding Bigfoot cast, but chances are the "critics" will be watching and hanging on the edge of their seats for each episode.

Thanks
Tom

Who's watching your Tent?

By TCC Team Member Dorraine Fisher

Who’s Afraid To Go Camping Now?
By TCC Team Member Dorraine Fisher

Should you be afraid of Bigfoot in the woods?
Maybe you’ve seen or heard something out there that changed your world view forever. Or maybe you’ve just seen all the evidence and you’ve decided it makes more sense to believe. But should you be afraid to go back out there?
When the cast of Finding Bigfoot was asked about their extreme animal phobias, Cliff Barackman said, “I’d have to say the entire class of arachnids, whether it be spiders, scorpions, or ticks.”
Not exactly what we’d expect from the guy who’s been shown out in the thick of Sasquatch country in the dark of night with little more than a sleeping bag and a flashlight, lying on the ground waiting for the big hairy ones to give him a nudge.  But we can all relate to his fear nonetheless.  No one wants spiders in their sleeping bag.
Matt Moneymaker confessed his well-warranted fear of mountain lions, while Bobo expressed a fear of polar bears. Ranae Holland didn’t take part in the interview but we’re pretty sure she’s not afraid of anything.
Not one of these famous bigfoot trackers expressed any fear whatsoever of the apes in the woods of North America. Even though many who’ve encountered the elusive “wood ape” in the flesh confess they’re very leery of returning to the same spot ever again.
And it’s not even necessary to see the creatures to be affected. Grunts and growls and having rocks thrown at you from a seemingly invisible creature in the woods can have a lasting impact on the human psyche. Our fear is built into our brains for a reason. There are some things out there we SHOULD be afraid of.
But it’s possible that our fears of sasquatches may not be necessary at all. It’s very possible that our elusive “friends” in the woods only use scare tactics to do just that: scare us half to death, and then make sure we think twice before coming back to that spot. And maybe they’ve learned over thousands of years of evolution that we humans scare pretty easily.
There have been very few reports in North America in modern times of a sasquatch attacking, killing, kidnapping, or otherwise assaulting any human. Even though there have been multiple accounts of property destruction, livestock assault and murder, and an occasional cabin invasion that might serve to scare the bejesus out of us, there seems to be little to no actual physical contact between them and us.
And you might think that’s only because they’re a rare animal.  But I’m more inclined to think it’s because they’re a very shy animal that has survived all this time by avoiding us. Attacking a human would surely bring attention to them and the area in which they live. And it’s quite possible they’ve learned to only do that when their home or young are threatened.
So should you be afraid to go camping? The evidence says no. But as always when we place
ourselves in the home of other wildlife we should always be wary and respectful of their territory. And
if something grunts and throws big rocks at your tent in the middle of the night, I’d move to different
spot. ********

Biggest Sobe Bomb Breakdown (Finding Bigfoot Show)

The Sobe bomb video was featured on the Finding Bigfoot TV show a few nights ago (3/11/12). The "Experts" say this is a "white Bigfoot" but I think I have proven it is just a kid in a White T-shirt. You can see the skin color change, the Waist color change and I even show you where the Kid went.
This is sad that "experts" don't know the difference between a bigfoot and a kid in a t-shirt.
This once again is an overreach by some of the people in the Bigfoot community.

Here is the breakdown video

Monday, February 13, 2012

First let me start by saying I'm not the biggest fan of the Finding Bigfoot TV show, I do enjoy watching it but seems each week the cast says or does something totally dumb that makes the whole bigfoot community look like a bunch of loons.

The Beast of Gun hill episode was one of the better shows from the complete lists of shows. I do think the Beast of Gum Hill video is a fake but this does not mean there is not legitimate sighting in the area.
There is beautiful mountains and  plenty of  food and water and last nights show had a couple of good reports of sightings. The sighting of the Police officer guy, the one who has not been hunting from 1993 after he seen a Bigfoot up close.....to me he was very creditable and believable in his story. Plus the other 2 that were featured were pretty good as well.
I personally have been in and around that area and there is some very dense and vast forest there...so it is very possible that bigfoot calls it home.

Here is the Original Beast of Gum Hill video

My Overall grade for last night show would be: B

Thanks
Tom

A source told Robert Lindsay the following:
"Here is the big news Robert, but unfortunately I can’t tell you anything more about it or expand on it. But by the end of this month, a shockwave is going to be sent through the Bigfoot community. That’s all I can say at the moment. But things are happening now that are gonna change everything."

Hmmm...Does this mean that the DNA paper will publish soon? Will it publish at the end of this month like many have stated? This could be what is going to happen, time will tell.

Robert Lindsay's latest post about bigfoot and the DNA paper gave us more to think about as well.

We can now assume the Following:

*  Josh Gates Yeti hair sample taken in Bhutan is now part of the final report and is a sample being used.
* Sierra Kills steak hair is 5-6 inches long, kinky like pubic hair.
* Sierra Kills steak, according to Dr. John Mionczynski,  smells like “burnt honey”.
* Sierra Baby Kill is said to look like a cross between a chimpanzee and a black Kid, the eyes are closer together than humans.
* Sierra Kills sample was included in Ketchum’s study.
* Some DNA samples were tested blind at eight different labs across the U.S.
* Alaska professor Rob Alley possible co-author of the Ketchum study.
* A rib bone with some flesh and hair stuck to it was found during the search of the Sierra Kills site in July, bone has not yet been tested.
* Derek Randles  revealed on MBRT Radio that Justin Smeja has boots with the blood of the young Bigfoot on them.

Lindsay also posted some info about Matt Moneymaker and the Finding Bigfoot show but I didn't pass it along here....so if you want to read it please go on his blog via the link below.

Thanks and I just can't wait until all the info and videos are finally released.

Last Night on the Finding Bigfoot TV show they featured Todd Standing and one of his videos and  all the cast basically agreed that the footage was fake and/or hoax...well except the lovable BOBO, he said it was a Squatch...but the others were not convinced. The show also told how Todd has a bad reputation among many bigfoot researchers and said his stories was kind of out there.

Well Todd Standing has now made a statement about the show and he tells quite a different story about what really happened while filming the show.

Here is what Todd said -
"I just wanted to make this clear. I offered all of the cast from "Finding Bigfoot" the opportunity to go into my research site. They refused and cannot. They will not film more then 500 yards from a road. Matt is an out of shape smoker that cannot hike up hills and Bobo has perminently injured his feet working as a commercial fisherman. I only gave them permission to use Video 2 because it is ...public anyway and i did not trust them when they refused to take or acknowledge my physical evidence( hair and scatt from bigfoot). That alone who have proved even to Renee that it could not be a man in a suit, unless i can fake DNA. I was deceived by them from begining to end. The day of the shoot i called them all on what a bullshit production they where playing. Their production company is call "Snake oil productions" and they lived up to their name. It was a very important lesson i had to learn and i am glad it's over. Bobo has appologized to me and explained his postion."

Thats right folks.... Todd said Matt Moneymaker is" an out of shape smoker that can't not hike up hills"  well if that is the case he will have a hard time finding a bigfoot.
I'm not a big fan of Matt Moneymaker and I find many times I do not agree with him..but when it comes to Todd Standing I fine it rather easy to agree with him. I think at one point Todd had a real sighting but the photos he has release in the past appear to be very fake.
Will the Finding Bigfoot crew take a stab back at Todd or will they fold up shop like Bobo and Apologize to him....Time will tell I guess.

Happy Bigfootin'
Tom

"I'd bet Justin Smeja is lying"
Matt Moneymaker commented on Cryptomundo.com,  Moneymaker claims that the "Bigfoot steak" is really just a coyote hide.
"I saw a photo of the hide piece. I was a roughly rectangular piece of fur and skin which looked like it was cut from a larger hide. The piece in question looked like it came from the belly of a coyote. Supposedly Meldrum also said it looked like it could have come from a coyote," Matt said.

Robert Lindsay correct on Nature rumors. We stated previously that Ketchum’s paper was at the journal Nature. Granted, our sources inside the Ketchum camp are very sketchy, and the information coming from them is hard to figure out. Ketchum then issued a statement on her Facebook page saying that the paper was not at Nature. We received a lot of criticism for being wrong about the scoop. However, we were not wrong.
The paper was first submitted to Nature, but it was returned to her by them after some time due to several concerns. We get this from Matt Moneymaker. Ketchum then submitted to another journal, and it looks like this submission will be successful. So we were correct in a sense. At one time at least, the paper was submitted to Nature, was tentatively accepted, was under peer review there, and finally was “handed back,” which is the terminology used.

Well, I guess first let me say that overall I really liked the 2 hours special last night- finding bigfoot birth of a legend, but with that said there were some things that I also didn't like.
I was under the impression that the FB team was going to study and analyze the famous Patterson film, but instead we got an lazy attempt at a recreation and a lazy analysis, but at least they did point out the fact you can see muscle mass and movement in the creature and it was good to here Gimlin tell the story.

My next problem with the show was with the Marble mountain footage. Yes it was great to get someone who was there during the filming and to here them speak about what really happen, but in yet another lazy attempt at investigating and research the FB crew elected NOT to go to the actual mountain where the creature was filmed to do their recreation. This is totally unacceptable, they could have sent Cliff, he is by far in the best shape of the whole lot of them. If they had went to where the creature actually came down the mountain then we would know a lot more about it , like how tall it really was. With the way the FB team handled the Marble mountain footage one has to assume that it was only a person walking down the mountain side as we have no idea how big the creature was or how rough the terrain really is,thanks to a lazy crew.

Next the FB team spent a few days and nights looking for bigfoot, it was a pretty good hunt and they had some things happen. The problem is that a couple of times they heard what they said was a whistle, well that is great, but why not replay the whistle and give the people watching the show a chance to hear it? They said they heard some yells but again no replay of the yell...but in the end it was a pretty good show.

Matt Moneymaker came off as a lot less of a Jerk last night and that is a big improvement to say the least. He kind of hates me but that's ok, I can still respect him,the show and his efforts.

Ranae Holland - did her first bigfoot scream last night and it was a good highlight of the show,Nice Job Ranae!

Cliff Barackman - spent time alone, sleeping on a mat, in the mountains and searching for bigfoot. It was very dangerous.

as for Bobo he came off as lovable as ever and he always get to play bigfoot during the recreations.
So if i was using a rating scale of 1-10 I would rate the show at about a 7 . I still have high hopes for the upcoming season and can't wait to watch. Good Luck FB team.
