Bubba Fest Weekend


This is just a PSA that there will probably not be any new post this weekend as we will be guest at Bubba Fest

For those who might not know, Bubba Fest is  America’s Original Southern-Fried Comic Con. It is a fan celebration of American entertainment, sports, and pop culture. There is a very impressive line up of great guest this year. We are thankful to be part of such a large event with numerous awesome guest.

Blackballed by Facebook?


After numerous attempts to resolve an issue with the folks over at Facebook, and after receiving a followers email, I thought I would post a heads up about our website and Facebook.

We know that many of our fans and followers post our links in various groups, pages and personal pages on Facebook. If you have attempted this recently you have been greeted with the ugly message that the URL has been blocked from Facebook. We are sorry about this and want to explain why and what happened.

Virus found in Turkeys

One ugly Bird
Turkeys in Maine have been found with a virus. The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife tells WNSX the virus is called Lymphoproliferative Disease Virus (LPDV). It causes minor to extreme lesions on a turkey's head and legs and is thought to spread by skin contact or mosquito bites.

The disease poses no risk to humans, but there is a potential for bacterial infection if the bird is handled improperly. If you shoot a bird like the one pictured, IFW asks that you contact the Department of Public Safety in Augusta at (800) 452-4664 or Wildlife Biologist at one of the numbers listed below:
