The Delaware Death Dog - New Cryptid on the Loose!

It appears we might have a new cryptid running around in Delaware. The witness has labeled it "The Delaware Death Dog". Its kind of a catchy name if you ask me. So far, from what little we know, that after the DDD makes an appearance, death soon follows for other wildlife in the immediate area.

Just what is this large mysterious canine looking beast is up in the air. Have others seen something similar? Is it a known animal in the area? How about the deaths after the sighting, was it just a coincidence?

Check out the report and see what you think about the Delaware Death Dog.

Here is the report

Name: HG (On File)

Email Address: On file

State: Delaware

County: Sussex

Date of Sighting: 05/11/20

Time of Day: 11:00Pm

Nearest Town: Rehoboth Beach

Length of Sighting: Less than 5 seconds

How many Witnesses: 1

Any Photos/Videos: No

Describe sighting in detail:

The night of 05/11/20, I was speaking to my girlfriend on the phone on the back porch of my house. We had been speaking for roughly 15 minutes at this point. I had noticed that suddenly, the blackbird calls that I had been hearing and that are a common occurrence at night, had stopped along with the wind, however I think the wind was mere coincidence. About 5-10 seconds after the blackbird stopped calling, an extremely large, dog-like creature sprinted across my yard at what I would estimate to be 15-20 miles per hour.

I saw the creature through the screen of my screened-In porch with the porch light on. It had 2 very long off-white front legs which I could not make out whether or not they had fur on them. The shape of the head was similar to a large coyote but the snout was far stubbier and ears were longer. I didn't get to see the back half of the creature, but because I did hear the footfalls of it, I would estimate it to be at least 5-6 feet long and anywhere from 200-250lbs.

The morning after the initial sighting I went into the yard to look for foot/paw prints and there were none. Interestingly, ever since I first saw the creature, the baby birds that have begun to hatch have been falling out of their nests and dying at an alarming rate, some of which are found extremely far from their nest, but not outside of my yard.

I have done a bit of research into a Delaware based Dog-Like cryptids to which I have only found fringe reports. Based on what I have seen and the events that have occurred afterwards, I would like to announce what I would like to call The Delaware Death Dog.

-End Report-

So, apparently death follows after the Delaware Death Dog, I wonder if it was just birds that died.
Thanks to HG for potentially discovering a new cryptid and sharing the details with all of us.
Now, if anyone has seen something similar in this area then please let us know.

Thanks
~Thomas~
