Daytime Howls Recorded in Iowa!

Bigfoot researchers, Corey and Tye, have been getting a lot of recordings of possible howls. The following audio is one of the best ones so far. It was recorded in April 2016. I have attempted to do some enhancement work on the Audio. The only issue with the recording was the dreaded wind noise. So, to combat some of this I focused on the howls with the least amount of wind noise.
The howls went on for well over 2 minutes.

Here is my attempt at enhancing the audio.

My Crypto World - Bigfoot Gifting

Welcome to episode 10 of My Crypto World. In this episode, I talk about bigfoot gifting, Nephilim, and flat earth? A few other topics are also talked about. Do any of you use gifting as a way to document Bigfoot? If so, let us know.

Here is episode 10

Howl in Iowa - Enhancement

The research team of Corey and Tye has been documenting a lot of possible bigfoot activity in Iowa. Recently they recorded what sounds like a really long reply howl. The sound is really far away and it is difficult to hear. I have attempted to enhance the audio so we all can hear this possible howl better. The sound/howl seems to taper off at the end. Even after some enhancement, the howl is hard to hear.

Here is the enhanced audio. This was originally recorded on May 25, 2016.

Over the years, I have taken in many reports of deer hunters encountering Bigfoot. This could probably stem from the fact that both hunters, and bigfoot, are stalking the same prey. This encounter occurred in Lenawee County, Michigan. Lenawee County is in the southeaster part of Michigan.

Here is a report I recently got in from Craig.

- Start Report-

Name: Craig *****

Email Address:
On file

State: MI

County:
Lenawee

Date of Sighting:
2006

Time of Day:  before dark

Nearest Town: Tecumseh (Tom - Tecumseh is a small city in Lenawee County. It is about 60 miles from Detroit and a 40 miles from Toledo, Ohio.)

Length of Sighting: Unsure

How many Witnesses: 1

Any Photos/Videos:
No

Describe sighting in detail:
I was watching 3 deer at about 200 Yds away, while bow hunting. When I began to hear a knocking sound coming from the woods very close to the deer.  The knocking came closer and it was an unmistakable wood on wood sound that was loud. At about 80 Yds away a branch was broken that immediately had me very nervous as it was very loud.
The knocking kept coming closer with no other sounds and it was calm and quiet that day.  It came all the way to within 35 yds or so and the knocking was all I heard. If it came any closer it would have to show itself but never did.

After a few knocks at close range my mind was racing as I had never heard of this behavior by anything and absolutely did not believe in Bigfoot, until that day. I heard a slight rustling of the leaves as apparently it headed back into the woods deeper but not without letting out a crazy scream/growl/yell that was terrifying.
That was all I could take and jumped from my tree stand (about 10 ft) and hustled to my truck without running, because I was thinking it might attack as I've heard that you don't run from a predator.  It took 2 hands to start my truck since my hands were shaking so bad. This happened 3 miles from my house and I do hear things occasionally but nothing like that day. I've never gone to that spot again, and never will.

- End Report -

Thanks goes to Craig for sharing his encounter with all of us. Even though this might have been a scary experience, it was also an eye opening one for Craig. Most of us have been told, that Bigfoot is not real, but for those of us who have seen and/or heard it, we have no doubts about bigfoot being real. Just be careful when jumping out of a tree stand.

Thanks
~Tom~

First, I will state the obvious, this is a very old second hand report, but I like these old reports. Some may question why I like some of these old reports and the answer is rather easy. See, back in the 40's, 50's, and 60's, people were outside a lot more. They had gardens to attend to and children helped. On days when there wasn't work to be done, kids played outside. They were not plopped down in front of a television set playing the newest great game and they didn't have their nose buried in the next greatest cellular phone. They were outside, unlike the majority of people today. By being outside, you greatly increase your chances of seeing a bigfoot, or some other rare creature. Another reason I like some of the old reports is because it helps establish a history of sightings. So with all of that said here is a report, along with some other stories, that was recently sent to me.

A country road in WV
West Virginia is a state located in the Appalachian region of the Southern United States. It is bordered by Virginia to the southeast, Kentucky to the southwest.West Virginia has a landscape much like my state of Kentucky. It is an ideal area for bigfoot. Meadow Bridge, WV is much like the small area I live in. It was or is a coal town that has only a handful of people living in it. These types of areas seem to provide a good place for bigfoot to live.

The following report was sent in to me from David.

Here is the report.

-Start Report-

Name: David ****

Email Address: On File

State: West Virginia

County: Fayette

Date of Sighting: 2009-2013

Time of Day:
Night

Nearest Town: Meadow Bridge, WV

Length of Sighting: Most nights from 2009-2013

How many Witnesses: 4 family members

Any Photos/Videos: no

Describe sighting in detail:

NIGHT WATCHER

In 2009, my mother, father, brother, and I moved from NC to a cottage in the mountains of WV, where we are originally from. There were no street lights and very few neighbors as the house was very secluded. Some late evenings we could look across a gravel road near our house and see a very tall figure standing under a tree, just staring at our house. Then late one night my mother had the bathroom window open, looking out to see if she could spot any deer or other wildlife. There was a large flat rock up from our house. It had been placed on its side as a marker, it stood about 4 ½ feet tall. On the other side my mother could see a pair of bright red eyes several feet above the rock.

As she watched trying to figure out what she was seeing, a dark figure stepped out from behind the rock and started walking towards the house. My mother shut the window quickly and moved into another part of the house. In the 4 years we lived there, we heard tree knocks and packs of coyotes howling.

-End Report-

First, a big thanks to David for submitting his report, and second...I have read various other reports of bigfoot just standing and watching people and/or houses. I wonder if this behavior is just a curiosity factor or there is some other reasons.  I know around here sometimes people throw out leftovers and various animals will eat it, I wonder if this is sometimes in play when bigfoot are seen watching a house. It could be an easy way for a bigfoot to get a meal.

Thanks
~Tom~

My Crypto World - Bigfoot Money

Welcome to the next episode of My Crypto World. In this episode I talk briefly about vacation, or the lack thereof, and movies.
Then the subject matter changes to a more serious topic, the one of the cost of bigfooting. The willingness to sell out a person's personal convictions for the almighty dollar.
I also talk about a few other topics. I hope you enjoy it.

Here is Episode 9 of My Crypto World.

Around the Campfire - Invasion of the Blobsquatches

It's time for another episode of Around the Campfire with Dorraine Fisher! In this episode, Dorraine gives her thoughts about the dreaded Blobsquatch pictures and videos. Have you ever seen a Blobsquatch? I'm guessing that if you have been around the Bigfoot community very long you have already seen more than your fair share of Blobsquatches.

Here is Episode 7

The Crypto Files - Episode 13
The Mystery of Stigmata

Stigmata is a term used by members of the Christian faith to describe body marks, sores, or sensations of pain in locations corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of the historical figure Jesus Christ, such as the hands, wrists, and feet.

Is it real? Who is affected the most, men or women?

Bigfoot Field Research & Game Cams (5/14/16)

We finally got a little break from all the rain and I go check out my bigfoot research area and set up some game cameras. I was wearing some new hiking boots and they were hurting my feet, so I cut the overall trip a little short. I revisit the area where I found and documented a stick formation for nearly three years. I also return to the area where I got the game cam picture of Bigfoot.

Here is the video.

By Dan Baker

An Interview With Cypto-Artist Dan Baker
By Dorraine Fisher

We love all of our cryptid artists but out sculptors are unique and special as they create a multi-dimensional depictions of our hairy friends. And crypto-sculptor, Dan Baker is by far one of our favorites. And he has a very unique perspective based on his personal experiences and his many collected reports from others. And based on the latest information on Bigfoot, he may be closer than anyone to having some of the most honest depictions. Only time and research will tell. But in the meantime, Dan is creating sculptures that tell an interesting story about bigfoot.

Dorraine: When did you first become interested in pursuing art?

Dan:  I became interested in art at a very young age. I remember as a very young boy, I would be eager for Sunday to come around so that I could get my hands on the cartoons in the funny pages. I would sit for hours and attempt to draw my favorite cartoon characters.
I have pretty much stayed with drawing cartoon characters most of my life but stopping about ten to twelve years ago.

Dorraine: Have you always lived in Ohio? And what influence has that had on your art, if any?

Dan: I haven't always lived in Ohio. I lived in both Michigan and Indiana for a while.
I've had two primary influences on my art.  The first would be both the cartoons of Warner Bros. and Disney. The second would be my obsession with early hominids, great apes and bigfoot.

Dorraine: What made you pursue sasquatch art?

Dan: For a while, I was making Christmas figurines out of polymer clay.  I made everything from elves to nutcrackers. Then one day as I was doing some online bigfoot research, I decided to try and sculpt a bigfoot bust. On thing led to another and I did one after another. Every individual hair was cut, rolled and put in place. One at a time. It was very time consuming!

Dorraine: Have you had a bigfoot encounter of your own?

Dan: Yes, I had a bigfoot sighting of my own on June of 2013. It was about 12:30am and I was at our basecamp with my wife and a property owners wife. We heard what sounded like bipedal footsteps just inside the tree line about 35 yds. From camp. I jumped up with my night vision and caught site of the Squatch when I canned left to about my ten o'clock position.
Four other people witnessed the Squatch after I did.

Dorraine: I know you didn’t get a good look at the creature’s face. So how do you attempt to depict the face of a creature considered by many to be mythical?  Where does your prototype come from?

Dan: So many people have described the faces of the creatures they witnessed as being like that of a Neanderthal, or Native American, including my wife Sue. Then there are those who have described something more apelike. So, I have attempted to sculpt both types. I have however sculpted a kind of whimsical little baby Squatch named "Skookum". He is my wife's and won't part with him even though I’ve been offered quite a bit of money for him.

Dorraine: What keeps you inspired to do crypto-art?

Dan: I think that trying to create something that has the possibility of looking like any creature that someone has seen is somewhat of a driving force to keep sculpting even though I have taken a rather long hiatus from it at this point.

Dorraine: Tell us about your research group.

Dan: American Primate Exploration / A.P.E.  is a group of like- minded people who are trying to make sense and provide absolute proof to mainstream science of a species of relic hominid through proper evidence collection and field research.  We research early hominids and great apes in an effort to put pieces together of an enormously huge puzzle of possibilities. Many of our people in the field have many years of hunting and tracking experience under their belts and know all the sights and sounds of the indigenous wildlife as well as the vegetation in their areas which can be edible or poisonous. We make every effort to keep it real and not allow any of the "woo" inside our group.

Dorraine: Tell us about your new Educational Visual Aids Fund.

Dan: My Educational Visual Aids Fund on "Go Fund Me " is an effort to raise needed funds to obtain early hominid and great ape skulls and life casts to use as hands-on tools to show people when we do our public lectures. Our lectures are primarily broken into two parts. Part one is speaking about bigfoot, encounters, sightings, etc. Part two is showing and speaking about early hominids and great apes in an effort to show people the possibilities of a relic hominid, similarities and differences in many different species, their relative sizes, possible diets, musculature, skeletal features and how long ago they were here on earth.
Showing photos up on a screen simply does not in any way compare to being able to hold a 2.8 million year old skull up for everyone to be able to see and touch for themselves.
I have been able to obtain a museum quality replica mandible of Paranthropus Boisei and it is absolutely amazing ! It is also in the neighborhood of 2.8 million years old !
It will be used in future lectures as well. People will be able to see this specimen up very close with their own eyes !
Currently, Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Dr. Esteban Sarmiento, and Paleoanthropologist Ran Cartwright are on board with me and my fund.

Dorraine: Do you have any other favorite subjects for your artwork?

Dan: I really only specialize on bigfoot or hominid art at this point. Maybe a few little cartoon characters here and there from time to time just to change things up!

Dorraine: Over the years, have you developed any theories or philosophies about Sasquatches?

Dan: Up to about four years ago, I was in the Gigantopithecus camp when it came to my thoughts of what bigfoot was. I have to say that the late Grover Krantz had a lot to do with that.
But then I began really studying paleoanthropology and primatology and I began to look at sasquatch as more of a relic hominid. First of all, we have countless footcasts that show a bipedal creature albeit flat footed which points to mid-tarsal flexibility.  (Many humans including the great primatologist Esteban Sarmiento have this condition) Next, many eyewitnesses have described a creature resembling a Neanderthal or Native American. These are hominid traits. The musculature appears to show some features of a great ape, however, many early hominids had the same features such as very powerful arms and the trapezoid muscles that are so prominent in the "Patty" film which would limit the ability of the creature to turn its head the same as we would. Very large, thick chests with powerful pectoral muscles have also been witnessed. The very robust mandible and sagittal crest are also traits shared by both great apes and early hominids such as Paranthropus Boisei or Paranthropus Robustus and gorillas.
Then we have to think of the intelligence of these creatures. We all know they are very smart and seem to have an awareness that we as humans have. The size of the brain would most likely dwarf ours. (Speculation)
I believe that sasquatch may be a relic hominid that has developed along its very own branch of the evolutionary tree, sharing traits of great apes but only to an extent both physically and in mannerisms. I believe that instead of dropping all of the great ape mannerisms and traits, they have maintained them to this day. (quite possibly an asset to their way of life)
I could go on and on, but I'll stop here.

Dorraine: Is there somewhere people can see a gallery of your work? Do you have a website or blog?

Dan: I don't have a website or blog to show my art, but will gladly show some photos here.

Dorraine: What is your favorite medium for your art?

Dan: My favorite medium in art is polymer clay.  You can let your imagination and creativity come to life in 3D.

Dorraine: What else do you like to do outside of art?

Dan: I have to say that I love to go camping and spend time in the outdoors doing field research and being with nature. I love all the fresh air and the creatures that we come across along with the beautiful scenery we come across.

Dorraine: What do you do for a living? And does that have any correlation with or influence on the way you pursue your art?

Dan: I no longer work everyday due to my M.S. And many other ailments. I guess my work now is my research although going into the field is becoming much more difficult, so, I study early hominids and great apes and look forward to future lectures where I can still make people happy and go "Wow" by showing and telling them things that perhaps they didn't know.

Dorraine:   Is there anything else you'd like to tell us.

Dan:  I would like to ask folks to please help out my Educational Visual Aids Fund on "Go Fund Me " so that I can continue to be active at least in teaching folks about both bigfoot and early hominids and great apes.

Special thanks to Dan Baker.

My Crypto World - Bigfoot Behavior

Welcome to episode 8 of My Crypto World. In this episode, I talk about some of the behaviors of bigfoot, such as stick formations. Many want to discredit these types of findings but I don't think we should dismiss them so quickly.

Here is the episode.

Unknown Howls Recorded in Iowa

Recently, the bigfoot research duo of Corey and Tye have been getting a lot of activity. We recently featured some audio the team captured of a scream. What exactly made the scream is yet to be known.
Now them has captured a series of howls. Again, not sure what is making these howls but they are interesting.

Here is a short video featuring some enhanced audio of the unknown howls.

Running time:86 minutes
Not Rated

This film is directed by Duane Graves and Justin Meeks, but probably the most recognizable name associated with the film is Kim Henkel. Henkel is probably most known for his work on the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre but also worked on other notable films such as: Eaten Alive, The Unseen, and Leatherface, Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, just to name a few.

Another interesting aspect to the film is that it is based on a real legend and true events. The Wild Man of the Navidad legend is believed to be one of the first sightings of Bigfoot in Texas. It was first widely reported in 1837 throughout the early settlements along the Navidad River bottoms, circa the modern-day town of Sublime, Texas, in Lavaca County.  The movie is based around this legend and around the journals of Texan Dale S. Rogers.

As, you can see the film has a lot going for it and it appears the research has been done. I can tell you that I did enjoy the film, even though I understand many will not. The film has an overall 70's feeling to it, which again may not be appealing to some, but I liked it. The film is what many would consider very low budget. It is rather slow moving but I still found the characters interesting enough to keep me watching. While watching the film there is a sense that you are just watching normal people doing things they do everyday.

Another aspect of the film, that I liked, was the fact that there was only a handful of professional actors and some of the cast was made up from local town folks. While again, this may seem to be something not good, it works out very well. In fact, one of the best performances was by Edmond J. Geyer, a local, who plays the sheriff in the movie. He does a very solid acting job, as do several others. Even the narrator, William 'Mac' McBride, done an amazing job and he was another local person who not only did the narration but played in the film.

The Wild man/Bigfoot is where the film was a little disappointing for me. The suit is noting more than various animal skins sewn together and is just not bigfoot looking to me. While this may have been the plan, I can't help but think the limited budget played a part in the wild man costume.

The heart of the film is old classic drive-in horror movie from the 70's and on that point it succeeds. I know many will dislike this film just because of it's low budget and slow pace. People looking for a really good bigfoot movie, will probably be disappointed in this film as well. So, even though I liked the film, I know most people will not and for that fact I have given it a lower score. I guess I appreciated it for the historical documentation and the classic horror feel, more than most will. The film has a Legend of Boggy Creek type appeal to it with sprinkles of humor. The DVD version I used for this review has some very good extra features. One in particular was of the locals talking about being in the movie. So, if you do end up watching this film, make sure to watch the special features.

This film is definitely not for everyone.
Here is my final rating.
Rating: 2 out of 5

Thanks
~Tom~

The Crypto Files - Bigfoot Scream (Ep12)

This is a special episode of The Crypto Files. In this episode, we feature a recently recorded primal scream. The scream was recorded by the bigfooting duo of Corey and Tye.  They have been researching Bigfoot and other cryptids in the state of Iowa for a long time now. They have documented various pieces of evidence over the years.

The duo thinks this particular scream was made by a female bigfoot.
Here is the video and enhanced sound.

This photo is thought to be a promotional picture for a film.

With my recent report, from Roger in Michigan, of a possible Thunderbird sighting. I did just a little digging on the internet looking for past reports of the giant bird. I ran across a report from Alaska that I had not seen before. I thought it might be a good idea to share that report here. I take no credit for this report, as it was not sent to me, but it appeared in the Anchorage Daily News and was written by Peter Porco.

Here is the newspaper write up.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A giant winged creature, like something out of Jurassic Park, has reportedly been sighted several times in Southwest Alaska in recent weeks.

Villagers in Togiak and Manokotak say they have seen a huge bird that's much bigger than anything they have seen before.

A pilot says he spotted the creature while flying passengers to Manokotak last week. He calculated that its wingspan matched the length of a wing on his Cessna 207. That's about 14 feet.

Other people have put the wingspan in a similar range.

Scientists aren't sure what to make of the reports. No one doubts that people in the region west of Dillingham have seen a very large rapto-like bird. But biologists and other people familiar with big Alaska birds say they're skeptical it's that big.

A recent sighting of the mystery bird occurred Oct. 10 when Moses Coupchiak, a 43-year-old heavy equipment operator from Togiak, 40 miles west of Manokotak, saw the bird flying toward him from about two miles away as he worked his tractor.

"At first I thought it was one of those old-time Otter planes," Coupchiak said. "Instead of continuing toward me, it banked to the left, and that's when I noticed it wasn't a plane."

The bird was "something huge," he said. "The wing looks a little wider than the Otter's, maybe as long as the Otter plane."

The bird flew behind a hill and disappeared. Coupchiak got on the radio and warned people in Togiak to tell their children to stay away.

Pilot John Bouker said he was highly skeptical of reports of "this great big eagle" that is two or three times the size of a bald eagle. "I didn't put any thought into it."

But early this week while flying into Manokotak, Bouker, owner of Bristol Bay Air Service, looked out his left window and 1,000 feet away, "there's this big ... . bird," he said.

"The people in the plane all saw him," Bouker said. "He's huge, he's huge, he's really, really big. You wouldn't want to have your children out."

Nicolai Alakayak, a freight and passenger driver from Manokotak who was flying with Bouker, said the creature looked like an eagle and was as large as "a little Super Cub."

Comparison to an eagle, certainly. Super Cub? Probably not, scientists said.

"I'm certainly not aware of anything with a 14-foot wingspan that's been alive for the last 100,000 years," said federal raptor specialist Phil Schemf in Juneau.

Schemf, other biologists, a village police officer and teachers at the Manokotak School said the sightings could be of a Steller's sea eagle, a species native to northeast Asia and one of the world's largest eagles. It's about 50 percent bigger than a bald eagle.

(Distributed by Scripps Howard News Service http://www.shns.com)

The wingspan is right in line with not only Roger's recent report, but many others. I'm sure there are some misidentifications in some of the reports, but it would seem logical to think that there has to be something to them.

Thanks
~Tom~

General area of the sighting.

Possible Thunderbird Report and Witness Interview

The following is a combination of a submitted report, an email exchange, and a witness phone interview. The witness had two separate sightings of a possible Thunderbird. The Thunderbird is described as a large bird-like creature that is normally tied to Native American tradition. Fossil records do show that giant birds with a wing span between 12 and 18 feet did exist. The Thunderbird is largely thought of as a myth nowadays, but reports of sightings keep being documented from time to time.

Here is the report and interview with Robert.

Is This Champ? The Legendary “Monster” of Lake Champlain?
By Dorraine Fisher

Lake Champlain is a 125 mile (201 km) long strip of freshwater lake located between New York State and Vermont, extending all the way up into Quebec, Canada. It is named for Samuel De Champlain, the founder of Quebec. But the most intriguing thing about it is the legend of Champ, the monster that’s believed to live in the lake.

Many believe the creature could possibly be a relic plesiousaur, a dinosaur believed to have become extinct during the early part of the Jurassic period, but somehow managed to survive after the lake dried up somewhat and was cut off from the larger body of salt water which included the Atlantic Ocean.

Many people in the area believe the stories are just legend with no real basis except to boost tourism around the lake. But since Champlain’s time, there have been hundreds of supposed sightings.
One of the most notable scientists searching for evidence of Champ’s existence is Scott Mardis who has graciously allowed me to share this with our followers. According to Mardis, a man named Eric Olson was out taking his morning walk in Oakledge Park near Burlington, Vermont , when he captured this video on his cell phone.
Let us know what you think.
