Let me start by saying Happy Halloween to everyone and be safe. I thought today, with it being Halloween, that I would feature 4 of the top haunted places in Kentucky. So here we go!

Waverly Hills Sanatorium - This building has been featured in many paranormal TV shows and is visited by thrill seekers on a regular basis. Waverly Hills was originally a tuberculosis hospital from 1910-1961. There are claims that over 63,000 people died while staying at Waverly. While that large number of deaths is disputed, no one can deny that the facility did have a large number of deaths and questionable treatment methods for patients. Waverly is among the most haunted places in the world, according to most list.

Bobby Mackey's Music World  - Located in Wilder, Kentucky. According to one legend two Satanists murdered and beheaded a woman named Pearl Bryan in 1897. Her body was found minus her head, it was never found.  Famous ghost hunter, Zak Bagans called Bobby Mackey's " the most haunted nightclub in America". There are various tales associate with this area. One such tale is that the original building use to be a slaughter house in the 19th century. There is also a tale about a pregnant dancer named "Johanna" committing suicide in the building. Bobby Mackey's is also said to feature a "Gateway to Hell", referring to the old well in the basement. The old well is said to be where the slaughter house threw all the bones and guts of the dead animals. Some say that is also where Pearl Bryan's head ended up.

Gates of Hell - Grandview CemeteryGrandview Cemetery, aka Kasey’s Cemetery or the Gates of Hell, contains the graves of people from the 1700s and 1800s as well as the ruins of an iron and stone gate. Some say one time an enormous green orb appeared here, hovered a short time, then shot straight up and out of sight in a second. Others say they’ve heard screams, seen shadow figures, and had car trouble while on the grounds. There are lots of reports from this cemetery and one report comes from a ghost hunting team. The team was in the cemetery conducting an investigation and discovered the remains of three dogs, a puppy, two cats, a calf and a deer scattered around the cemetery. Some believe that satanic worship is being conducted in the old cemetery. A scary place indeed.

Jailer's inn Bed and Breakfast  - A nice bed and breakfast that use to be a jailhouse back in the 1800's. It has everything a person could ask for in a bed and breakfast. It is even said to have permanent guest in the form of ghost. These ghost are said to be former inmates from the old jailhouse. Many patrons of the inn have been known to feel the haunting presence of these previous inmates. Some even report hearing the sound of chains and shackles.
Located in Bardstown, KY.

This is just a very small sample of the many haunted places and areas here in the bluegrass state of Kentucky. I know just here in my local area there are numerous cases of hauntings and tales of a freakish nature. I hope to feature some of them in the future.

If anyone, from any state, has experienced or captured ghostly activity, then feel free to tell us about it by using the form found here!

If you are going out to conduct paranormal investigations in buildings or private lands, please have the owners permission.

Everyone have a great and safe Halloween!

Thanks
~Tom~

The Legend of Devil's Garden

The story of Devil's Garden, located in Hutch, Kentucky, is an interesting one. Growing up in this general area, I had always heard about Devils Garden and knew it was a swimming spot. As a teenager, I was told by my parent not to go there. That the area was a place were people came to party and drink. I have been by the location many times during my life. The somewhat popular swimming spot has a dark past, Here is the story.

In the small community of Hutch, in Bell county Kentucky, there is a legend that is both sad and frightful.
It seems that one summer night a group of teenagers were out having a good time at the local swimming hole. This was before the spot had earned the name Devils Garden. They were all drinking, swimming and enjoying quite a bit of playing around. One of the kids may have had too much to drink and slipped and hit his head on a rock in the shallow water. The teenagers were drinking in a dry county and they sure didn't wont their parents to know about it. So,they decided to cover up the accidental death of their friend.

They tied a rock to their friend’s body to keep it under the water and left. The next day, wondering if it was all a bad dream they went back to the swimming hole. The police had already arrived to the scene and found the body.

Come to find out, their friend had not died from hitting his head but had drowned. None of the then teenagers said a word about what really happened. Fifteen years later, the now adult teenagers, began to disappear one by one. It finally got down to where only two from the group were left. The two decided to confess about what really happened that night. They both were sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Now, as the legend goes, if you go out to the swimming area during a full moon, you will sometimes see a reflection of a skull on the water.

After this event, the area became known as Devil's Garden.

Now, it is my understanding that people still go there and swim but as for me, I think I'll pass. I think a lot of people in our area probably don't know about this tale, they may know the name but not the story behind it.

Now, the only verification I can find on this story is from several other websites, so I can't say for sure it is 100 percent the real story, but then again that is why it is called a Legend.

Happy Reading.

Witness or Researcher?
 Witness or Researcher?

First, let me say that this post is in no way trying to lessen the importance of witnesses or researchers. Many time a witness becomes a researcher after a sighting. Researchers often depend on witnesses to get the newest reports and information. So with that said lets look at the definitions of the words.

WitnessA person who sees an event, typically a crime or accident, take place. In our case they see a Bigfoot.

Researcher A person who does a careful study of a given subject, field, or problem, undertaken to discover facts or principles.

Witnesses and researchers go hand in hand and if done correctly should compliment each other. They both in many ways depend on each other. A researchers provides an outlet for the witness to tell their story, and to talk to someone who will take their sighting seriously. Many times the witness is just relieved to finally get the story "off their chest". Sometimes, a witness may experience a wide range of emotions after a sighting. Emotions that may include fear, terror, anxiety, rattled, shocked, depression and many others are possible. Sometimes taking to someone who will take your sighting seriously and interact with you about it, will help relieve some of these emotions.

For the researchers who get to talk to witnesses or receives their report some other way, they get helpful information such as: location, size of the creature, color of creature, behavior of creature and more. This information can help establish patterns of behavior and gives the researcher a location to explore for more clues. (Always get permission from land owners.) While exploring a sighting area, the researcher may find clues to validate the witness sighting.

Sometimes, a researcher may never actually see a Bigfoot. That was the case for long time researcher Rene Dahinden. Dahinden had over 40 years of research and while he made many discoveries, such as tracks, and talked to numerous witnesses, he never actually saw the creature himself. He was convinced that the creature was real, and he may have never got to that point without talking to witnesses.

So, hopefully you can see the value of the witness and the researcher are both equally important and go hand in hand in most cases. Sometimes, a problem comes in when a witness claims to be a researcher. They never actually do any research themselves but relay other researchers work as their own. Sometimes even other researchers will pass off someone else research as their own. I have seen this happen and it has even happened to me. It is fairly rare but it does happen.

So, in closing I will say whether you are a witness or a researcher, you are important to the field of Bigfoot research.

Have a great day.

Thanks
~Tom~

73 degrees of Bigfoot (Patty)
21 degrees between Bigfoot and You - Maybe Not

First, let me say this is in no way an attempt to debunk the Patterson-Gimlin film of Patty. Instead, it is yet another attempt by me to clear up a misconception about the shin rise angle of Bigfoot when compared to humans. I made a very simple video about this idea several months ago. (Watch Video By clicking Here ) The video was not well received or maybe just not understood. But, it was just a very quick attempt to show the problems of using the shin raise method to authenticate Bigfoot videos and pictures. So now, I'll try again.

The theory was made popular by a very popular video posted on youtube. It was posted by a guy who calls himself ThinkerThunker. He has a large following and has very good editing skills. The theory, in a nutshell, goes like this: The shin raise of a human walking is at a 52-degree angle and Patty in the Patterson-Gimlin film has a shin raise of 73 degrees, thus resulting in a 21-degree angle difference between the human gait and Bigfoot gait.

This theory has been taken to heart by a very large number of people who have an interest in Bigfoot. They use this theory to determine if a Bigfoot video or photo could possibly be that of a real Bigfoot. And while the theory and the video explaining it sounds very feasible, there are some problems with it. First, the theory fails to make comparisons with people in suits or wearing oversized shoes.

I will offer the following picture as an example that this theory can not and should not be used as a reliable method in determining if a video or picture is that of a real Bigfoot.

Clearly, this is a man in a popular Bigfoot suit, but yet his shin raise appears to be 73 degrees. So either the Shin Raise theory is moot or this is a real Bigfoot. I'm sure no one considers the Bigfoot on the left to be real.

Bigfoot may very well walk with a shin rise of 73 degrees. But with the above photo, it should be clear that the angle can be reproduced rather easily.  In the above photo comparison, the person in the Bigfoot suit achieves the 73-degree angle due to the fact the feet of the suit are larger than the person's real feet. It causes the leg to be lifted higher thus resulting in the target angle.

I hope you got something out of this post.
Have a great day.

Thanks
~Tom~

So, this video is burning up the facebook groups and youtube. The story, as best I can gather, is that this couple hit "something" while driving. They back the car up to see maybe what it was, all the while using the back up camera system to view the roadway. The lady in the car is filming the images on the screen with her phone, as best that I can tell. Then we see what is said to be a Bigfoot start running towards the car and the couple speed away. So I guess, we are to assume that the something they hit was this Bigfoot.

In any case here is the original video

Strange Formations In The Woods
Human Activity or Juvenile Bigfoot?
By Dorraine Fisher

In my early hiking days, I saw a lot of things in the woods that I ignored. And with all the new information we have now and all the advances in Bigfoot research since then, I’ve been forced to possibly kick myself for not paying closer attention.

It’s become obvious in the past few years that bigfoot activity can be so humanlike that it may often be mistaken for human activity. Stick structures were a good example of this. That is until we realized these structures were more complicated and some took a lot of physical strength to construct. And now, stick structures are among our most important clues of area activity.

But are there other humanlike but less obvious clues to consider?

I believe so. Years ago, on one of my hikes in a secluded area in Illinois, I came across railroad tracks. And on those tracks, small rocks had been placed on one of the tracks, and the formation continued for about 10 feet. The rocks were very neat and orderly in their placement. And I simply dismissed this find as something done by children. I didn’t bother to take any pictures, and I never gave it another thought until recently when a researcher in Louisiana showed me a picture she had taken in her research area.

Cynthia Tarver, a researcher from Florien, Louisiana, does some of her work there in Kisatchie National Forest. And she showed me this picture she took in a remote area of Kisatchie back in December of 2013. It’s a picture of pine cones that had been strategically lined up in a formation around a tree. She almost dismissed it, thinking it was made my human children, but it was interesting enough that she snapped a picture anyway. Could this have been created by bigfoot; perhaps even a juvenile that, in being an advanced primate, might behave and occupy its time the same way a human child might behave out in the woods. I have to wonder.
(Close up of pine cones, full picture at top of page)

I might have dismissed this too, but it’s in a remote area of the national forest and Cynthia has found footprints and other evidence of bigfoot activity near there.

Tracks and some type of shelter were found.
So maybe we need to be more careful about what we dismiss as human behavior, and whenever we find something curious like this, we need to be sure and check for other evidence in the area…of humans or other primates.

My “rocks on the railroad tracks” formation happened to be in perfect bigfoot habitat, teeming with deer and nourished by a spring-fed creek. And incidentally, it was near an area where a couple of bigfoot sightings took place a while later. But I wasn’t informed enough then and I missed my chance. Luckily, Cynthia Tarver didn’t.

So, maybe we need to pay more attention and not be so quick to dismiss a lot of things we find out there. Not that we should determine every humanlike activity to be Bigfoot activity, but instead, keep our minds open and check for other evidence of bigfoot in the area.

So, what do you think? Have you seen similar things in the woods? Did you dismiss it as human-made?

Special thanks to Cynthia Tarver for sharing her photos. All photos on this page are copyright Cynthia Tarver. Special thanks also to Timberline Project Bigfoot Research Team, and Sister Squatch All woman's Team.

Creepy Video Creature?
By Dorraine Fisher

Among the most daunting tasks of the paranormal investigator is sifting through piles of video footage that comes to their attention. They don’t want to waste their time, but they don’t want to miss anything important either. So it’s hard to ignore anything significant. And sometimes we run into something unusual that, real or not, we choose to share and acquire some other opinions about it.

The following video was brought to my attention by a friend. It’s origins are unknown, but several signs point to it being a CGI video. Nonetheless, it’s gripping enough to warrant a second or third look. An unknown “creature” seems to discover it’s being watched and attempts to duck behind a tree. And its movements are intriguing. Let us know what you think.
What is it? Or do you believe it’s computer generated?

Special thanks to Jaime Febus and the Facebook group Beyond The XFiles for bringing this video to my attention.

Update -  Thanks to Ross Withers, we now know the origin of this clip. And as we suspected it is not real but from the 2012 movie Thale.
You can read more about the movie by clicking here or watch it on Amazon by Clicking Here

River below the Martin's Fork Dam
The following sighting was recently published in one of our local news papers. (Harlandaily.com) Even though this sighting was not submitted directly to me, there was enough information in the Newspaper article to log the sighting. Once I read where the sighting happened I went to the general area and took some photos. The above picture is of the river below the Martins Fork dam. This is an area very close to me and a place where I have fished over the years.

Here is the sighting.

- Start Report -

Name: Michael Cook
Email Address: Unknown
Website: Kentucky Sasquatch Team
State: Kentucky
County: Harlan
Date of Sighting: 10/2000
Time of Day:
Nearest Town: Harlan
Length of Sighting:
How many Witnesses: 1
Any Photos/Videos: no
Describe sighting in detail:

I saw a creature 7 ½ to 8 feet tall at Martins Fork Lake in October of 2000. This creature was on two legs and I was within 50 feet of it…everything you think you know about how Bigfoot looks is nothing compared to what Bigfoot actually looks like.

This thing was 7 ½ to 8 feet tall, and it was probably about 350 to 400 pounds.
You’d think that would be fat, but it wasn’t. It was lean, muscular and built…It had long legs that were half the body length. The arms hung down almost to its knees. It didn’t walk slumped over or hunched over…it was covered in dark, reddish brown hair.

It had a flat nose,Its cheeks weren’t exposed like you see on “Harry and the Hendersons” or anything like that. The thing I noticed most about it was it did have four fingers and a thumb.

After I saw it, I thoroughly believe it. I know it exists, because I saw it with my own two eyes.

He said he ran when he saw it.Cook said the creature he saw did not look like a gorilla or any of the familiar versions of Bigfoot you see in movies.I could hear it screaming up on the ridge,” said Cook. “It wasn’t like a howl like you hear on “Finding Bigfoot” it was a primate scream.”
(Take from the Newspaper)

- End Report -

A big thanks to the Harlan Daily Newspaper for covering Mr. Cook and his sighting. I will add this to our sightings map database. Mr. Cook is also scheduled to speak at the Big Sky Bigfoot Conference in Hot Springs, Montana on 10/24/15.

Also, in the report above I included a link to Mr. Cook's research group, make sure to check it out.

Thanks
~Tom~

Return to Research Area

I recently went back to my research area and made one disappointing discovery and a couple interesting ones. During the video, I also give a little bit of history on my findings in this area.
I hope you will take the time to watch this video and maybe my many other videos in this area.

Here is the video

How far does Bigfoot travel?

I know that may seem like a stupid question but for many years now the fish and wildlife people have been using tracking collars on various wildlife to determine how far certain animals travel. Of course, there could be many factors as to the distance any animal would travel. Factors such as viable food sources, seasons, other animal populations in the area and the sex of the animal. Most studies have come to the conclusion that male animals tend to travel much greater distances than females of the same species.

For example, lets look at black bears as they are often compared to Bigfoot in terms of areas that can support possible Bigfoot. Normally, the train of thought is that if an area can support an animal as large as a bear, it could possibly support something as large as a Bigfoot. With that said, an area with ample food sources for black bear can typically still have male black bears roaming anywhere from 8 to 60 square miles. Female black bears in the same area would roam about 2 to 15 square miles. In some cases of poor habit areas, black bears have been known to roam up to 100 square miles. The key for black bears, or all animals, is tied to habitat.

But what about Bigfoot? While we of course can not come up with a rock solid conclusion, we can get some general information that might help us. In my state of Kentucky and the more southern states, the winters are normally not extreme enough to warrant migration. Some theories state that Bigfoot migrate, before winter hits, into warmer areas. This could be true but it might only apply to areas that have hard winters.

Most of us are working under the premise that Bigfoot builds shelters and/or lives in some type of cave. In other words, they have a home. So, if they normally have a home then one can assume they have a good habitat area. Which means they might not need to roam great distances. Could this help explain why Bigfoot sighting are sometimes clustered close together? How about the claims of Bigfoot habituators? They say they have years and years of seeing and sometimes interacting with the same group of Bigfoot. If they are seeing them on a regular basis and in the same area, then they must not be roaming too far away.

Now, this brings me to a couple areas here locally that have Bigfoot in them. They seem to be in these area very often. Does that possibly mean that their "home" is fairly close by?  At times, they seem to be not coming to the area, but on the other hand I have found evidence of them being there at various times all through the year. One area in particular seems to have them in it very often. It is rare to make 3 or 4 trips in this area over a couple months period and not find some type of evidence. It boils down to being in there at the right time.

So, if an area has reoccurring Bigfoot activity could that mean they have a "home" near by? If the answer is yes, which I think it could be, then finding the "home" would be the next step. That next step of course could be dangerous. It could also be very hard to find. There are theories that Bigfoot disguise entrance ways to their "homes" in a way to make them blend in. Such as covering them with dead tree limbs or fallen trees.

I guess the mystery is getting to me. I mean, if I see a black bear in the same general area for months or years, then it is safe to assume that the bear is living in a den somewhere close by. So, I think this can probably apply to most Bigfoot in areas where activity keeps occurring. It seems a little far fetched to think a Bigfoot is traveling 100 miles every few days to visit an area. But it makes more sense to think a Bigfoot is staying near by, I'm speaking of course of areas that have repeat sightings and activity.

There are many factors that could cause Bigfoot to travel out of their normal area. Maybe it is breeding or to find a mate that causes them to go greater distances. Maybe the habitat had an off year and the food supply is not sufficient and they have to move on. Or maybe it is man's fault, as we continue to develop land and cut away forest land. In our area, which is very mountainous, we have coal mines and strip mines that seems to temporarily drive out wildlife, but it tends to move back in over time.

If we can get some better track castings, ones with more dermal ridges, we might be able to match castings to a particular Bigfoot. This could give us a better idea of travel areas. If, for example, I was able to get a good clear track casting and someone 10 miles away got one and we were able to match and confirm it to be made by the same creature. Then we would have an idea of distance traveled.

If, we can get a little more data about the distance a Bigfoot travels then we might be able to narrow down our search area and in the end get better results.

I would be interested in hearing what some of you researchers have to say about Bigfoot and how far they travel.

Thanks
~Tom~

Jack Tessier's hair sample.
I got this report/finding submitted to me a few days ago. Over the last year or so, we have been giving more coverage to Australia's version of Bigfoot, the Yowie. The Yowie is very similar to Bigfoot and has some of the same behaviors.

Here is the report.

- Start Report -

Name: Jack Tessier
Email Address: On File
State: New South Wales
Country: Australia
Date of Sighting: 29 December 2014
Time of Day: around 5pm
Nearest Town:
Length of Sighting:
How many Witnesses: 2
Any Photos/Videos: yes

Describe sighting in detail:
My name is Jack Tessier and I'm a cryptozoologist from the Hunter Valley region of Australia and on December 29 last year I came across a possible Yowie footprint in the Watagan Mountains and I also got possible Yowie Hair samples.

Photos:

Jack with casting and on the right the track as it was in the ground.
One thing I forgot to say is that I believe it might be a Junjudee footprint based on size. The Junjudee are smaller cousins of the Yowie.

Website: Click Here

- End Report -

A thanks goes to Jack for sending in this information. We will be interested in how the hair sample turns out. Good luck with your research.

For those who may not know about the Junjudee, here is a discription.

Junjudee - is a type of Bigfoot from Australia. They are hairy humanoid creatures that are 2-3 feet tall, have black fur and are said to have large white fangs and red eyes. They live in groups where they live in caves or natural hollows of boulders. They are generally thought of as harmless, though they can be aggressive. Interestingly, Junjudee means devil devil in Aboriginal lingo.

Thanks

Mock up photo of a Bigfoot about to do a wood knock.
I got the follow report in a couple days ago of some late night knocks from multiple areas. It is an interesting report and the person has Bigfoot research experience. check it out.

- Start Report -

Name: Anthony ****
Email Address: On File
State: WA
County:
Date of Sighting: 9.7.15
Time of Day: late nite (about 3:35 am)
Nearest Town: SULTAN
Length of Sighting: 3:35am to 4:55 am (Over an hour)
How many Witnesses: None, people were asleep
Any Photos/Videos: No, I wish.
Describe sighting in detail:

On Sunday 9.7.15 from 3:35am to 4:55 am while on a camping trip.

Late at night I heard something out side of my tent, so I went outside. I heard foot falls
running away from me. So, I went and started a fire to keep warm as I couldn't
go back to sleep, It's 2am.

So a hour later I heard a wood knock and then rock to wood knock and then a wood knock. It was coming  from one area then another different area, and then another in different spot.

I'm not sure how far way they were but it was odd they did it in threes. Then I heard chatter and it wasn't anyone at the camp site.

When I heard it I kept silent, so I could hear them. I counted about 15 wood knocks mix with rock knocks an about 8 different chatters.

Then after they quieted down, I heard a very strange noise, like one was trying to distracting me from the others.  Then it started raining and they were done, I never heard anything else.

What was interesting is how the three were far apart from each other.
Seems like they were communicating with the trees and the way they were
moving.

General Map of area:

- End Report -

What makes this more interesting is that the person reporting it does conduct Bigfoot research. So, they have a basic understanding of natural forests sounds and what could possible be Bigfoot wood knocks.

A big thanks to Anthony for submitting his encounter.

Thanks
~Tom~

Game camera photo that is featured in Bigfoot:Still Tracking a Legend.
If we back up and really look at the incredible amount of evidence concerning Bigfoot, I just don't see how anyone, who has looked at the evidence, can still have a lot or maybe any doubts.

The above picture (date is off) is one that I was able to capture via game camera in 2013. The evidence surrounding this photo is enormous. I have made 2 documentary films based on about 3 years of research where this picture was captured. I have also shared many videos on our youtube channel. Everything has been well documented. Yet, I have people who are just not willing to consider the evidence or entertain the idea that Bigfoot is real. Numerous tracks (well over 30), numerous stick formations, 3 witness sightings, tree breaks, and more, all documented. Still not accepted by some.

But, lets forget me and my small part of the Bigfoot puzzle. Lets talk about the thousands and thousands of witness sightings. People from all walks of life have reported seeing Bigfoot. Bigfoot reports from policemen, farmers, government workers, preachers, firemen, teachers, doctors, truck drivers and about any other type of person you can think of. But yet, some say you can't believe witness testimony. Funny, how witness testimony is a corner stone in most judicial systems, but when it comes to Bigfoot you just can't trust it.

Of course, we know that some people do lie and hoax but I'm sure there are many people who, if you examined their lives, you would find that they are honest and truthful people. Lets take a christian person for example. If they are truly Christian, it would go against their moral and religious compass to fabricate tales of seeing Bigfoot. I do understand that some Christians do lie, but it would be easy to get some background on a person by simply contacting people in their home town. Policemen have historically been considered to be truthful people and their testimony rock solid in the court of law. Of course, I know you can find some exceptions, but for the most part their testimony is considered fact and holds up in court.

So far, we have thousands of credible witnesses, not to even mention they are from all across most of the planet. So, now lets take a look at some of the other evidence that many dismiss.

Tracks and track casting have been made and collected for the last 50+ years. They have been looked at and studied by many people. Fakes have been weeded out and yet we are left with hundreds of plaster cast tracks of large human looking foot tracks that can't easily be explained away. Many of these tracks are accompanied by some type of eye witness account of seeing an unknown, large, hairy humanoid creature. But yet, many want to just dismiss them.

This track on the left, along with others, were found in a garden in 2011. Something had eaten six rows of corn and some other items over night. The corn cobs were left in neat little piles. These tracks were about 16 inches long. This report came from a very credible family. You can read the full report by Clicking here.

I also included this report in my recently released book, Bigfoot Witness, because I know I can trust the source it came from. I also know the area where this happened.

The picture on the right is of a track casting just being pulled out of the ground. This was found and cast by Bobby and Corinna Long in Oregon.

Many of these tracks are found in isolated areas with little foot traffic. Then you need to think about how many people actually walk in the forest without shoes, I'm guessing not very many.

If you keep digging, the evidence just keeps piling up. Over the years more and more stick formations have been found. I spend a lot of time in the mountains, I have seen areas where there seems to be something different going on with the trees. I have walked many miles where the mountains seem totally normal and as expected. With my logging experience I have seen trees land and fall about every way imaginable. But yet in certain areas, normally where Bigfoot sighting have occurred, I find weird and unusual stick creations and tree breaks.

I personally have found several "X" formations. In almost all the ones I have found, the limbs forming the "X" were broken off and came from somewhere else. They were not just two small tress pushed across each other. These type of "X" formations have been well documented by many researchers for a long time now.

Sometimes these stick formations resemble Native American Teepees. Again, these are sometimes found in the same areas where Bigfoot sightings occur.  Often times, there will also be broken tree limbs near stick formations. The tree breaks are normally pretty high up, 6 foot or more. This Bigfoot behavior, and others concerning sticks, is very well documented by many researcher all over the world. But yet, it is not accepted by some people.

This post is getting rather long and I've only briefly covered just a very small amount of Bigfoot evidence.  There is so much more like sound recordings of howls and some even of possible speech. Rock clacking reports. Tree knocking. Rock throwing. While, there are many things we do not know about Bigfoot and Bigfoot behavior, there are many things we do know because the evidence is repeated over and over by various researchers all over the planet and by people who have never met or spoken to each other.  You can say "well, they seen it on the internet" but this stuff was happening before the internet was even thought about.

In this day and age, most everyone is interested in video and photographical evidence of Bigfoot. There are some older videos that are very much worth considering. The Patterson-Gimlin film, The Hoffman film, and The Freeman footage are all note worthy and should at least be considered. There are several more films as well, just search around.

As for pictures, there are many, but most are out of focus or taken at a long distance. Some of them are possible misidentifications but there are some pretty good ones out there.

Like this recent picture from Jeff and Teresa Yelek of SIR. It appears to be a face. The good part is that the duo went back to the area and took some after photos and the face was not there. Jeff and Teresa was also featured in Crypto Tracker Chronicles episode 1. You can get more information and see the after photos in that program.

Sometimes, people criticize Bigfoot photos for being blurry or out of focus but one must remember that in many of the sighting cases the creature was fleeing and the witness was shaken up. If you have a pictures and you have a witness, then in my mind the case is somewhat stronger, providing the witness is credible. Then you add in a credible researcher to investigate the area and claim. Then once more evidence is collected, the evidence should speak for itself. But yet, it is still dismissed by some.

Of course, we have hoaxers, liars, thieves, and con men who are just muddying the waters of Bigfoot research. They are attention seekers and are just trying to gain some publicity by pulling hoaxes. Any researcher worth his salt will do what he or she can to debunk and expose these type of people and their claims. Even after you take out these types of false reports, we are still left with a mountain of evidence from credible sources that can not be explained away.

So, for all the doubters and those who just want to dismiss every thing, I say do some digging. Don't go looking for hoaxes and fake reports, God knows they are out there, but go looking for credible reports from credible people. Reports that can't easily be explained away. Look for researchers who have an honest reputation, then check them out for yourself. Of course, in this field we do have a lot of over zealous people, but that does not make them dishonest. Look for down to earth researchers. Ones who weigh and attempt to debunk their own evidence. You might just be surprised at the mountain of evidence you find.

My goal has never been to prove Bigfoot to the general public or science, but there are some people who are interested in the phenomena but are still on the fence. I encourage them to jump in and keep reading and looking at the evidence.

For some the large amount of evidence will never be enough. It will take a personal sighting or encounter to convince them. They just will not accept the evidence and in many cases will not even look at it.

So why isn't the evidence enough? Could it be because some will not look at it? Or could it be that the water has been made muddy by the hoaxers? Or has all the ridicule and lame news reports put walls up, walls so big that almost no one wants to consider the evidence?

My guess is that the reasons vary on an individual bases. That some, may have never had something "unusual" or weird happen to them. Who knows for sure.

All we can do is share with like minded people and with those who are willing to consider that there is more to our wonderful world than they might have imagined.

There is so much more I could go into but this post is probably already too long. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks
~Tom~
