UPDATE: -
This is possibly the rifle the Rick Dyer used to shoot the tent video bigfoot in the back of the head.
Reportedly Dyer came out of the tent sporting nothing but underwear and a rifle when he took the shot.

is this the rifle Dyer used to kill the bigfoot?
It seems the the BBC film group, Minnow Films, is supporting the claims of the bigfoot being killed by Dyer. Reportedly the DNA testing will finish up on or before the 28th of May according to Dyer.

Rick just issued a new statement - "First of all I would like to think my supporters, followers and friends. This could not have been achieved without your support. We had no choice but to release this information. I don't regret what I have done. I will do everything in my power to make sure the Bigfoot Community does not profit from or benefit in any way from this discovery.
I have endured insults and defamation for over five years for something I've done when I did not believe in Bigfoot....To my followers and to the public this is for you."

Many are pointing back to Dyers 2008 dead bigfoot hoax and saying he is just doing it all over again but what if he really has a body? He has admitted that he did not believe in Bigfoot back in 08. Now after pulling the biggest bigfoot hoax of all time wouldn't it be something if Dyer really has a body? Of course I'm skeptical but time will tell if it's all true or not and the story could be too important to ignore over a hoax pulled 4 years ago.
Then there are many other questions about the killing of a creature like bigfoot, will there be any legal problems? Who all has seen the footage? would all involved be consider accomplishes to the killing? Will the Government step in?

On top of all of this ,Rick's wife is having  their baby today and we wish them all the best with the new addition.

For months back in the summer Rick Dyer said he was going to kill a bigfoot. Many people were pretty upset over this and others just thought Rick was just blowing smoke.
Then the "Tent Video" came out that later turn out to be filmed by Dyer but not only him but a BBC film crew. As the story goes the Bigfoot seen in the tent video was shot by Dyer, the bigfoot reportedly was shot in the head, ending it's life quickly.

Late Thursday night Dyer confirmed that in fact a bigfoot body was in cold storage via his blog site. Not only that but that DNA samples have been tested and will continue to be tested by top a University with test resuming on January 15. At some point there is a plan to show the body to the public.

Rick and I had a private conversation a few weeks back and he basically told me about the bigfoot body but I have not told anyone until now and am only doing so because Rick has now made a public statement. While he did not tell me anything in great detail I was left with the impression he had a dead bigfoot and I was pretty convinced of it.

It is safe to assume that the upcoming film "Of Monsters and Men" will not only feature Dyer and the tent video but also the dead bigfoot body. I'm sure some people will call it all a hoax, while others will be outraged at the thought of anyone killing a bigfoot. Time will tell what really happened and how it all went down and if it is a hoax or not.

The film "Of Monsters and Men" is currently in production by BBC film group Minnow Films. They have been working with Dyer for several months, maybe even years.

  1. Come on... I hope he has the sense not to use chicken innards like the last guy who had a frozen bigfoot. I'd suggest deer intestines. Why would someone shoot a bigfoot and keep it secret for weeks?

    1. He is the guy that used chicken inards, He is a douche and if it's true needs to be imprisoned for it.

  2. Because he wants to make money from it. The only problem is that this is just another hoax. The is nothing more than an effort between bloggers to keep a hype at a minimum standard. Rick Dyer is a man so desperate for attention that he simply jumped on the band-wagon and will play along.

    1. Yup you got that right. Attention seeker for sure.

  3. Hahaha.....Believe what you guys want. Maybe it is a hoax. Maybe not. Either way. Sorry to break it to you guys, but the big guy exists. I pretty much know that for a fact. You might want to do some research before shooting off at the mouth about something you have no knowledge of. Or simply continue to keep living your life as a narrow minded lazy person. The truth is gonna come out, closer than you think.

    1. That is the truth. And as sad as it is (No I don't want to believe a known hoaxer as Dick Dyer!); it is/was necessary to kill a live Bigfoot in order to preserve their future.

  4. If it is not a hoax... he needs to be tried for murder or killing and endangered species at least! As a Shawnee the grass man is scared and he would face the gauntlet for his crime! I've been close to one, about 50 feet and he ran by me and left me unharmed in my camp... we should do the same! If it's a hoax, shame shame on you... if it is real... die Dyer die!

    2. The criminal prosecution idea has been kicked around for a long time, from "Bugs" on coast-to-coast who claimed to have shot a BF couple and buried them, to Smeja and now Dyer. As a professional criminal investigator, let me tell you unequivocally this isn't going to happen.

No district attorney is going to prosecute for murder when a BF was, til that moment, was commonly accepted as a mythical creature. No more than someone would get in trouble for plugging a unicorn. No one will face any charges involving the death or killing, because no law exists in any state or in the federal CFRs prohibiting killing a mythical creature. If anything, a public uproar would result in local police or wildlife officials charging the shooter with illegal discharge of a firearm or some kind of prohibited possession charge, but nothing that's going to result in a significant criminal penalty, if any.

Laws have to exist to be broken, and retroactively making a dead BF fall into the legally human category will not thereby retroactively make a shooter guilty of manslaughter, murder, etc after the fact. Not any more than the homeowner who shoots a goofball wearing a gorilla costume trying to scare him. He simply has to say he was scared for his life. I doubt he'll be lying!

The suggestion that they're scared to reveal more based on a fear of being prosecuted falls flat for me. My money is on another hoax. Three hunters, Bugs, Smeja, and Dyer all shoot a BF, are stopped by their companions, and in the case of the first two, shoot a pair while hunting bear? Smells like BS and I've got a nose for it. And yes, I'm a believer in general.

    3. If you are in fact a criminal investigator, then you would know that they do have such a law in Oregon that states it illeagal to shoot harm or horrass a bigfoot

  5. LOL this IS the LAST guy who "had" a "frozen bigfoot" in a freezer.

    He's repeating the same hoax.

  6. If indeed it is true, then he is a criminal who needs to be prosecuted.. If Melba's DNA is correct, and it contains mostly human DNA, then he killed and unarmed human of unknown origin. That is murder!

    ReplyDelete

    1. It actually isn't.

Maybe some obscure unknown wildlife law or hunting reg, but most assuredly not legally murder.

    2. It is just morally wrong.

  7. Melba's report has not suggested that it is 'mostly human DNA', only that the mitochondrial DNA is human. I doubt there is a body based on who is making the claim.

  8. THATS GREAT !!! FIND ONE OF THE RAREST ANIMALS ON THE PLANET AND BLOW ITS BRAINS OUT ..... I HOPE ITS HOAX, CAUSE HE HAS TO BE FACING FINES OR PENALTIES FOR KIILLING SOMETHING LIKE THAT IF ITS TRUE

  9. OK, lets say he does have a body, why not bring it out and lets see it? Why do we need to wait for DNA when we have a body. Thats sounds like a hoax and stupid crap to me!!!! Lets see the body you lier!!!!!

  11. You scooped everyone else on this one, good show! I wonder if Smeja's breathing a little easier now, since he won't be standing alone in case any charges are deemed appropriate. It oughta make that crowd cough up their stiff a little quicker, too, I hope.

  12. Here is my thoughts on this. When the full video is being played. He does have a rifle in his tent. so if he is telling the truth. he did have a weapon.. This would prove once and for all Bigfoot is real..

    1. Yeah he did have a rifle in the video. I hope its real just so we all know for sure. Its wrong for killing, but how else would anyone ever know for sure?

  13. To all the people whining about how killing a bf is morally or legally wrong...

    1) It may or may not be an endangered species. Cliff Barackman, whom I respect and trust more than just about anyone else out there in this realm, recently stated that he believes there could possibly be up to 10,000 of the creatures living in north america. So who knows if it is endangered. However, I think we all would agree that it deserves to be protected. So to all you knuckleheads out there whining....you must face the fact that before we can protect a species we MUST produce a body, either live or dead. Laws cannot be enacted to protect something that is widely viewed as a mythical creature. The only other alternative to killing one, is to capture one, and we all know that they are much too smart and observant to fall into some sort of live trap. And even if by some crazy chance they did, a couple howls would bring every bf within 5 miles running to the area and then we'd have to kill 3 or 4 just to survive the event ourselves. That's why killing ONE is a better and necessary option. If you can't clearly see that, you have issues. Every time I go into the PA woods armed, I think thru this whole scenario, hoping it's not me that has to kill this innocent human-like creature. But I would, in a heartbeat, if for no other reason than to get it over-with.

    2) Our laws on murder, as T Farris eloquently pointed out above, are clearly in regards to Human Beings, homo sapiens, the species to which you and I belong. Killing a relative of ours, even one that kinda looks like us and walks n talks like us....would not be illegal. Our laws protect us from the government being able to create or amend a law then enforce it against someone after the fact, especially in this case because the "killer" did their species a favor by killing ONE, and did our species a favor by solving one of the biggest mysteries mankind has ever pondered.

  15. Its all a bunch of bullshit . They would have atleast given us something better than a taste of another fuzzy video that is typical of images caught on camera or video . I can tell you that the next excuse will be that the body was confiscated by gov. officials ( unofficially of coarse ) !

  18. You guys need to catch up with both the interview done with Musky Dave and the diatribe uploaded onto U-tube by Rick Dyer recently. Musky daves interview with FB/BF sounds very credible and believable . You can tell by the timbre of his voice that he was incredibly spooked by witnessing the body of the Bigfoot shot by Dyer. He still sounded almost shocked as he was describing what he had seen. He sounded like his whole world had been turned up-side down. As for Dyers U-Tube monologue in which he is trying to justify his actions (during the making of the Minnow film), he comes across as a pychologically unstable person, with a below average IQ, seeking approval for a series of problems that began with his own stupid decision to try and hoax the world back in 2008 with a rubber monkey suit. It's not that I don't believe him, as he thinks is the case, it is that he is too believable. My prediction is that yes he will end up very wealthy, but will also end up becoming a social pariah and is unlikely to live a long and happy life after this incident.

  19. Don't you think that it's funny that he's filming out of a tent in which the window opening looks to me to be at face height. Yet the bigfoot which is supposedly 9' plus is also at the same height. One would presume that the filmer would be crouching and filming up through the window not horizontally as shown in the video since the Bigfoot, seems to be standing approximately 5'away,

  20. It looks like the bigfoot from Harry and the Hendersons. Can you buy or rent the costume from that movie?????

  21. Sadly 1 will probably need to be taken, whether harvested for the benefit of science or hopefully found dead of natural cause. But because of all the skepticism it will take a body to prove they exist, a sacrifice that will allow for the protection and management the rest of their populations. I'm Native American, to us they are sacred, so I'm not saying this is right or wrong, I'm saying this is simply a fact of the world we live in.

    2. The Sasquatch people don't need our management. They've been "managing" without our help for thousands of years. We "humans" need to leave them alone. For the most part, they haven't bothered us. It's troublesome that we think we need to manage & control everything out there, when if we just leave things as God intended, everything will be alright.
